I’ve seen a few reviews disliking the narration, but personally it is one of the main reasons I find these stories so enjoyable. The deep voice of the narrator is so calm and engaging, and makes the stories more interesting than they would have been otherwise.

I have been listening for nearly a year now! And I’ve become a patron! I spend a lot of time driving so I get lots of time to listen to the podcast. I absolutely love it! The stories mess with your mind (in a good way), some make you laugh, others make you wince. They really are fantastic entertainment and I love the narration! Creepy often recommends the nosleep podcast, which I have listened to as well. I think it’s great to see shows work together to better help the audience. I love the nosleep podcast but Creepy will always be my favourite! I love the bonus episodes and the early releases for being a patron. It really is a pleasure to subscribe. That last story really messed with my head just gets better and better great podcast

The stories are very good. Some you will have heard before but there are a lot of unheard, fresh ones too. It’s annoying having the credit announcements at the start instead of the ending. Apart from that really enjoyable!

So the stories are really good but the guys deep voice sounds comical. Hahaha I mean he sounds likes he’s about to knock one out and his overly deep voice just sounds so fake and monotone it does spoil some of the stories.

The only voice annoying me is that one in the into, so naff! Otherwise really enjoy this. Narrators voice gives a good feel to it, good selection of stories! Keep it up!

A well narrated,well written and often scary as hell podcast. Definitely a favourite of mine. Highly recommended

I did like this to start with, and love Small Town Horror. However the more I listened the more I found the show a bit uninteresting. Majority of the stories don’t hook the listener and I found myself zoning out.

I disagree with the people who say the narration is monotonous. I like it because it’s not overdone or like a panto: it leaves the drama for the story. And they’re good stories. Love this podcast, and the 30 days of horror was amazing! A story a day!!

One of the best podcasts I have ever found

The stories are great but you’re better off reading them online - the narration, as someone else has said, is very monotonous and badly done. I find it really annoying - would be better with someone who could actually tell a story.

The storys have given me chills up my spine, the narrating is fantastic and the sound effects make me sometimes feel physically ill from the realism. If you are a fan of anything creepy then this is definetly the right podcast for you!

No matter where the story comes from or who wrote it, the narrating them makes everything seem exactly the same. No range, no emotion. Just boring.

The stories told on this podcast are constantly and eclectic blend of enthralling and disturbing audio to keep your eyes wide and your heart pounding in your chest, all whilst you are looking over your shoulder....just in case. Genuinely brilliant creepy stuff. Keep up the good work!
