There are shows you can listen to that are long droning speeches about Apple. Then there's the direct and frequently updated news podcast like Mac OS Ken. He does a short burst that gives you the news every day as it happens. He is humourous and well informed on the issues. The show has gotten even better since he started replacing sponsored ads with Patreon supported funding. Not that I didn't mind skipping ads when they were there, but not having them at all is very different from all the other podcasts that I listen to!

Best daily mac show out their and the funniest

Expat from the UK (across the pond) living in Shanghai that's me, and I have to say that Ken Ray does a great job of getting me my apple tech news each and everyday. Great production, great personally, and all round great podcast. I also am fine with the, so called "radio voice". Reading that much information, while trying to "lift it of the page" takes a lot of skill. I find the style easy to listen and understand all the facts and I also like the fact that the content is brought to me in a nicely edited, tight, well thought out, well recorded program. Mac os ken live is also great. Hope to hear more.

Great for a daily dose of mac news. I like the dry sense of humour in which he delivers the news, although is is doing a show about Apple he is fairly impartial which is nice.

There are many US podcasts about the Mac and Apple. What makes yours special Ken is that you never forget that you have a loyal following on this side of the pond as well, and you make every effort to understand (what to you) must be the funny phrases and words we use (-: Good on ya mate!

Absolutely brilliant podcast. Love the very dry British sense of humour. Very hard to get by without getting a daily fix of Mac OS Ken. Love the Mac OS Ken app too. Really happy that we didn't lose this gem of a podcaster since the demise of the other show. Ken was the most unique podcaster amongst the old fray.

Ken completely rocks for reasons too many to list. One comment, Ken change the intro music please, it reminds me of a time at the dentist getting my teeth drilled with no anaesthetic.

Your first few episodes you'll find the staccato delivery almost (but not enough to stop listening) too much to bear, but it will grow on you. I now find this is THE podcast I listen to regardless of how many others are competing for my attention. It's just the right length, with just the right amount of reporting and opinion. Highly recommended.

This by far my favourite mac news podcast, listening to this is the best part of my day. The fact that it's Adaily show makes the news more relivant than other weekly shows.

The idea of a bitesize daily Mac News show is a great one - and the good things about the podcast are firstly the production values which are excellent - but also the humour Ken puts into each daily show. He has a very sarcastic sense of humur which I like. However, all the postives of the podcast are wiped out by his annoying "broadcasting voice". His rollercoaster intonation really grated on me after just a few shows. The most frustrating thing is that I have heard him guest on other podcasts - and he sounds nothing like what he does on this one - he clearly puts on this voice just for this show. If he spoke at a normal tone, and with normal intonation like he does on the shows he guests on - it would be a lot easier to listen to. I think the show would also benefit from guests or an occasional co-host just to break up the monologue. This show could be a must listen for me each day as I am an Apple fan, but unfortunately I've had to unsubscribe.

Funny, informative, honest and insightful. A fantastic way to keep up to date on Mac news without taking it seriously.

A great show, fun to listen to, informative. I no longer need to read any magazines for news as its all here.

Have been just a day fiver for some time, and seen Ken's style grow and mature (unlike his humour, unfortunately) into what has got to be one of the most professional podcasts around. His Apple news is always interesting and succinct, his scripts are good, and his delivery perfect, leading to a very polished and enjoyable show. He even made me believe for a minute this week that he did have a dog that died!

This is the best tech podcast - not to mention Mac podcast - available. No-one else combines the dry wit, entertainment, excellent content and creativity that Ken manages with this daily effort. It's the only podcast I bother with on a daily basis - entertaining and informative about all things Apple. Download and listen - you won't be disappointed!

Ken is not at the fluffy end of Mac reporting and does not mess around with trivia, except when the trivia is funny. He covers the figures and the details of the Mac business which delivers the information you need in a relatively short time and the only waffle you get is when he is munching on one. Do not miss. Oh his taste in music is a bit suspect and Big Organ Trio, well they don't rock.

This is the best Mac/Apple podcast out there! Get really disappointed when iTunes doesn't deliver on-time!

I can not recommend this podcast highly enough. I love the way Ken reports the daily Mac news in his own special way. I have listened to it for a few months now, but I can not miss a single episode. I live in London, England, so getting to work by public transport is not the best of daily experiences, but this daily experience more than makes up for it. Subscribe now, you won't regret it!!

I used to listen to the daily feed from Ken's last podcast and deleted the weekend version as it was poorly presented and lacked the wit and focus of Ken's writing. Yes, this show is funny, informative and concise - great for the commute. Now let's hear Ken on other broadcast outlets....
