Love this podcast, always something new to learn and now there’s such a back catalogue to listen to, I’m never at a loose end for something to tune into. I love Jane’s presenting and guests and... basically everything. How did it take me so long to find it I ask myself?! From one Hessayon fan to another, thank you!!

This is an upbeat podcast about everything houseplant. Jane is a lovely host with great passion for her subject and she interviews some seriously knowledgable experts. I love the way the show brings together listeners of all ages from across the world to share the houseplant love.

I'm new to plants, and when looking for some extra help in learning about all things green and indoors I stumbled upon On the Ledge. SO GOOD. Covers everything I'd been wondering about and more! I made a beeline for a few key episodes looking at low light plants and how not to kill houseplants, but quickly found myself starting from ep1 and steadily bingeing my way through on my drive to and from work! Who knew I'd have an interest in micro greens? Or that I needed a ZZ in my life and am now drooling over the raven variety?! THANKYOU FOR THIS AWESOME PODCAST! (and linked fb group which is full of help and joy too!)

This is a great podcast. I’m quietly confident that even if you aren’t a gardner of any sort you’ll enjoy this. You might even find that like me you start adding houseplants to your online and real life shopping baskets because of it.

I don't have any houseplants at the moment because I am too nomadic, so I just listen to Jane's plants instead. She looks after them really well for me. Thanks from a frustrated houseplant owner.

Really love listening to this podcast and I recommend it to anyone growing or interested in growing houseplants.

Unlike a lot of the plant Youtuber videos, this podcast is so well researched you can rely on the info!

Theres so many episodes now you can probably find an episode that covers your choice of plants, so its really useful.

Absolutely loving this podcast as someone who is fairly new to keeping house plants it’s so useful for me I have learnt lots already. Discovered a million other plants I now love. very enjoyable to listen too

I’ve been growing houseplants for a couple of years and this podcast is the single greatest resource I’ve found. The podcasts themselves are fantastic and I find myself repeat listening to absorb all the information available. There are also show notes available that provide a great background to the shows and provide useful sources of further information. Five stars Jane!

This is an awesome podcast. Excellent guests, well presented, off-the-beaten-track plants and interesting content. I'm a young professional and this is very definitely (and successfully) aimed at my generation, certainly compared to the obviously much older target audience of, say, Gardener's Question Time. Above all, this podcast is fun, light-hearted, mild-mannered and relevant.

Also, serial interviews with James Wong. Say no more.

I don’t have many houseplants (more of an outdoor gardener) but this podcast is an excellent source of info. The episode giving tips on buying plants is relative to anyone about to part with money for a plant!

Whatever the opposite of being green-fingered is, that's me!

I was dead pleased to come across this podcast which hopefully can get me on the road to houseplant heaven (for me that is they don't die!).

It sounds cool, the host Jane absolutely knows her stuff, the production is good, and I would choose it over the BBC offerings (no names mentioned!)

Phrases like "required listening" are bandied about all too freely in podcast reviews, but On the Ledge really is just that for anyone with an interest in houseplants. It's fun, informative, and manages to mix a bit of horticultural science and some botany in without appearing in the least bit stuffy. Just what you need if you want your newly acquired indoor greenery to last beyond a few weeks. The only problem is, while listening is free, the hit upon your wallet as Jane enthuses you to grow your collection of domestic vegetation is anything but insignificant. Other than that, top stuff.

I am so happy to have found this podcast! I am a horticulturalist but haven't had much luck with indoor gardening in the past. This podcast is good for me and my indoor plant babies! They are definitely looking happier since I have been putting my new knowledge into practice. Thank you Jane! From me and my green friends 💚

This is what I've been waiting for! Too many gardening programmes and podcasts ignore indoor gardening and house plants in particular. Jane has vast knowledge but presents with a light touch and is always fun. Great guests too. I've added to my collection of plants with pretty much every listen!

There's something really soothing about listening to gardening programs. It's rare to find ones on house plants, though. Thus 'On the Ledge' was a real joy to discover, and even more of a joy to listen to!

Great show on the alternative and quirky side of gardening. Jane has a great manner and the topics are fun and informative. I could do without voiceover man who appeared in the first two episodes.

I've always wanted to learn more about houseplants. This podcast is perfect for me as I like to listen to it in the bath and imagine the house being filled with the beautiful plants they are discussing. All the best.
