Knives, lives and awesome wives!

Having some trouble? Heat treated and forgot to drill your tang holes? Cooked your resin inside the chamber? Ruined an etch on a finished blade? Well the Knife Talk Podcast can’t help with any of that, but it does help pass the time. There’s a French guy called Ćregg (he’s some sort of Duke I think?), his main job is importing equipment from China, but he also makes the packaging for their knives. He recycles them from old boxes that iPhones come in (#sustainable) which is pretty cool. Then there’s this hilaaarious old dude, who cusses off dog walkers, he does the handles. He started out making fishing equipment, but his lures were too big though and it didn’t work out. Then my favourite, Maumasi the science guy, he mostly talks about his buddy’s, although I can’t find any of them - spent ages looking for Austin Knight. Maumasi makes all of the blades, they are coffee flavoured too which is cool. There’s also loads of ads for discounts on stuff as well. I don’t need an intimate shaver right now (I use my super sharp CHOP knife for that, although catching the baby bird on the bottle opener can be painful) but if I did need a shaver I’d be sorted! I mean if you’re interested in beef, music and lasers then I’m with you. They did talk about making knives once, but that one was boring. They also love all of their listeners....just not the stupid ones. I love this podcast, it’s brilliant! I feel like I know the guys personally, especially Geoff!

Funny and informative

Having liked the idea of bladesmithing for a while now I am making my way though the back catalogue. This podcast is a must not only for beginners with very helpful tips and advice but entertaining with laugh out loud moments. Keep up the great work

Fantastically entertaining podcast about knife making

Discovered this podcast a little while back and even though I had not heard of Craig, Geoff or Mareko individuals before, I saw the interviews with knife makers that I had heard of. So I thought that I'd give it a try.
There's lots of really interesting topics discussed, the guys recommend other knife makers to check out - and give tips and tricks too. But on top of that, the guys have a real chemistry. I really liked the quizzes that they have had - I look forward to listening to the podcast on a weekly basis.
Do keep it up guys!!

The best Podcast for Knife Makers and Enthusiasts!!

I discovered the Podcast in November and started listening from the beginning. I loved the original format because as a bit a noob, it gave me so many helpful tips and introduced me to amazing makers. Their ability and resources available all differed and helped you to relate as a new maker or see where you hope your future to go.
The new format is incredible! With Craig, Geoff and Marrrrrrrrreko (I think thats right?). They keep it real and always fresh with new beefs and tips. Heres to many many more Podcasts!

Nailed it

I think this podcast would be entertaining for someone with no interest in cutting tools. That’s the mark of a great podcast.
