I LOVE True Crime Obsessed! Patrick and Gillian are hilarious! They have such a good back and forth and it’s super addictive.

Along with that, they always research stuff (or give it a “goog”) and you learn lots of things. I like the throwbacks to previous episodes too.

I’ve never been big on buying merch but I’ve already bought my Garbage Bell T-shirt and all my friends (who are now avid listeners) want one!

If you are true crime obsessed and have a sense of humour then this is the podcast for you. Gillian and Patrick can find humour in the darkest of situations, but they’re never offensive or insensitive, they’re really just saying what we’re all thinking when watching some of the true crime shows. Since subscribing I have binged on the episodes and signed up to their Patreon for more, their show lifts me up and I feel like I’ve gained two new besties lol. Gillian’s Ken Kratz and Robert Durst impressions are hysterical. Subscribe, you won’t regret it!

If you like a a bit of truth and honesty with your podcasts then this is where you need to come. Patrick and Gillian deliver the perfect commentary of these documentaries. You will laugh so much it hurts and find yourself nodding along in agreement. I watch as many of the films as I can and I can't recommend their take on them more. I’ve listened to all the main players in the true crime podcast community but Gillian & Patrick’s niche is by far the BEST there is - no others compare. When I first started listening about 8mths ago I was like ‘Jesus can I really listen to these squeals that dogs can only hear?’ But I now pine for those squeals & literally piss myself every time I listen. I used to find this podcast great but lately the jokes are the same and the laugh is too much, the screechand snorts (and stop saying 'totally) - hurts the head and overbears the entire podcast. Gillian is great and she should carry it on her own or new partner.

Recaps docs like an audio version but with comments and observations that make you cry laughing and stick in your head forever (always tactful to the victims - jokes are on the production and the foolishness of the baddies). It’s like sitting and having a coffee with old friends, lots of inside jokes grow as you listen to more and more episode and you feel part of the crowd so quickly.

This is one of my favourite podcasts. It’s a lot different to most true crime podcasts, as Gillian and Patrick are giving commentary on true crime documentaries. I even subscribed to their Patreon.

Gillian and Patrick have a great, fun and friendly chemistry and provide laughs, but also a great perspective on these types of documentaries.

This is a fabulous show, I love it to the moon and back. Patrick and Gillian (with a G!) are hilarious and I enjoy listening to their documentary breakdowns more than I like watching the actual documentaries! I run my own business and work alone which means I listen to podcasts for literally HOURS every single day. With a preference for true crime podcasts I can sometimes find that I end a work day feeling miserable and dragged down with all the GARBAGE I listen to. Not with this. T.C.O brings light relief and respectful humour to sometimes really awful subjects. I’m so chuffed to have found this amongst the sea of crap podcasts that I’m compelled to write my first ever podcast review; BRAVO GIRLS: 5 STARS *Applause*

Gillian and Patrick are very talented at taking serious subject matter and making it funny, but in the rare way where it’s not disrespectful or exploitative to the people involved.

I listen to a bunch of true crime podcasts and this is my favourite, I look forward to every new episode because they’re always great.

I am from across the globe in Britain and I have binged this podcast in the last month or so and I feel part of the TCO Fam! I am a complete True Crime fanatic and listen to a lot of messed up evil, so to have a chance to laugh so much along with Patrick and Gillian is a breath of fresh air! And I have learnt so much about historical events. Wish I lived closer to get more involved! Never stop! 😘👍🏻😂

I love this podcast, the rapport between Patrick and Gillian is great to listen to and they are so funny! I love the garbage bell. The way they cover often grisly subjects in a hilarious yet sensitive way is always impressive too.

The thing that spoils it for me is the intrusive advertising, around 2 in every 10 minutes is an extremely long advert. I understand they need money to make the podcast but it's so much of the content that I'm alway left wanting more actual content when I finish an episode.

I loved this, it’s fun but I feel like the jokes are a bit old now.

So nice to listen to a podcast that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I love hearing how the two hosts genuinely make each other laugh

I have just discovered podcasts, let alone this one. I found it because one of the Crime Junkies (which is also great) hosts posted about it. I am absolutely hooked, and I’ve never seen any of these documentaries. I find myself laughing out loud in the street, the hosts are hilarious and super intelligent.

I recently discovered this podcast and I loved it at first.... and maybe it’s because I binged the entire catalogue in a week... but it gets really old, really fast!! You can have too much of a good thing!

Absolutely love this podcast, so funny and Gillian and Patrick come across so warm and friendly. I heard Patrick on Crime Writers On and meant to get round to listening to this podcast. Don’t know what took me so long. Since I subscribed I have been binge listening to it. It is so funny. Frankly, I think Gillian and Patrick could discuss anything and I would listen to it. Being so naturally entertaining sounds easy when it is done well (as it is here) but Patrick and Gillian have real chemistry. This is a great podcast to unwind to and forget all the crap that is going on in the world at the moment. Download and listen people! You will not regret it.

By a country mile my favourite podcast. Gillian and Patrick are hilarious. It's surpising how well they make the humour work given the documentaries they review.

Amazing podcast however the laugh from the male presenter is overbearing and ruins it for me. He doesn’t offer much to the podcast unfortunately. However still good but not great.
