It is safe to say that I have wandered a bit. I served in the military, flew some jets, jumped out of most, climbed mountains (I jumped off of them too), taught fitness, owned a gym, and have spent the last few years speaking to organizations and leaders. It has been a journey, and in all honesty, I have no idea where it is going. I seek the things that make me uncomfortable. I move towards things that scare me. I think you should too
Great banter between Andy and his guests, and his ever suffering support staff….! Such a range of perspectives, that this is a no-holds-barred conversation that doesn’t dodge the difficult conversation. Great Q&A ‘questions from the internet’ sessions really add to the value of the first interviews. Honest, genuine, and often hilarious. Definitely worth investing the time to listen and reflect on these conversations. Excellent.

The brilliance of this podcast
The brilliance of this podcast is there is a military podcast, but it’s not military. They refer to military stuff all the time, but I also refer to how if life gives you lemons make lemonade.
As someone who served in the British military, some of the military stories are relatable, even though you’ve never been in their role.
And I’m only on episode three episode two had occasions that made me laugh so much I must have looked like an idiot to anybody outside my headphones.

This is my favourite podcast. It’s refreshing because Andy is honest about his shortcomings, doesn’t BS and has guests from all walks of the political spectrum..... that he actually listens to.
There hasn’t been a single dud episode I have listened to, it has the same feel as all the other greats, like you’re sat listening to some friends having a talk. Seriously it’s fantastic.

I first heard Andy on Joe Rogan and was hooked. He has the knack of not taking himself seriously, but at the same time, being interesting and talking sense.
I have enjoyed his guests and hope he pushed the boundaries further, as both he and the guests talk honestly and are not afraid to say what they think.

Phenomenal (and not just for military types)
Candid and humorous. Eclectic selection of guests, not all whom I would endorse. But that is part of the what makes this podcast unique. The host is genuine in his desire to have a conversation and explore the point of view of anybody with something to say, whether he agrees with their position or not.

Man Utd forever
As a regular listener to jocko and several other SEAL podcasts I wondered how another podcast could be different but amazingly it does the interaction of subjects I.e bow hunting and Andy’s move to Montanan is very interesting.
Comming from England I find the day to day life of Americans amazing I am bias as I love Americans and there country as I have spent loads of time there keep it up 10out of 10.
The last one on Eddie Gallagher was amazing I thought it was a stitch up from the start just shows how you guys must fight socialism within your press believe me we have had it for years now we have had brexit we have started the fight back .

Appreciate the dead air
I love this podcast, the topics covered are informative and interesting, and I’ve noticed during podcasts with decorated military men there is a lot of dead air between the question and the answer, I used to find this annoying but now I’ve learned to appreciate this, because these people really take the time to think about their answers, It’s something I’m trying to incorporate into my life. Having discovered this podcast through the joe rogan experience, and hearing Andy on his appearances on that, I have found that he has the same sensibilities, thoughts and feelings that I had and have transitioning out of the military, and it’s reassuring to hear Andy able to articulate them in a no nonsense, non judgemental way. This podcast is one of the most inspiring and motivating ones out there, especially for those that have found themselves in the same situation.

Never disappoints
Maybe I don't know much about bow hunting/hunting coming from the UK but being ex-military and in the first responder field Andy has so much to say that I can relate to even down to his "0 to 10" anger response which I deal with every day, much of which I'm sure is down to my "PTS" but who really knows? Keep it up Andy you have a lot to offer and you have an entertaining but informative style that can't be faked. Thanks..
