I love this

With my apparently unhealthy interest in true crime, I was looking for something still factual but different. I stumbled upon this as a suggested listen by the podcast evidence locker. Oh my! I absolutely love it. The humbling weird and wonderful facts, filling me with sadness, horror, disbelief and joyful triumph, mostly all in one 20 minute session, are just perfect. Thankyou Rachel xx

Perfect Length

Not only is each episode well researched & informative but they are also the perfect length. When discussing such a serious and often complicated topic, shorter episodes are better as you don't feel overwhelmed by getting too much information thrown at you. I have learnt so much from this podcast and look forward to each new episode.

Mental Illness

Just recently discovered this podcast so binge listening. As someone with anxiety/depression/OCD and a Psychology degree this really hits the spot. I’m just listening to the Anxious Female and I know exactly where Rachel is coming from. There are still so many barriers a woman has to overcome if she goes against what is still expected of her. There is no way I could deal with children when I’m depressed and have migraines and I don’t know how anybody does. The constant ‘you’ll change your mind’ I g
ot was tiresome to the extreme. I never did and I’m 45 now and still have no interest in breeding. Unlike Rachel I detest children but I can absolutely see them where she’s coming from. This whole series is really interesting. Halfway through, lots of bingeing to do.

Fascinating and well researched

I love this podcast. It is interesting, well researched and Rachel obviously commits a lot of time and effort into its delivery. I wish they were longer but understand there are only so many hours in a day. I really appreciate Rachel's open, honest approach and look forward to each episode. Fantastic work and much appreciated.

Thank you for being you!

I love listening to every episode however painful tragic or even downright horrifying the subject matter. Every episode is presented in a thoroughly researched & beautifully articulated way. Totally undervalued & should get way more subscribers. We may well be “all mad here” but I feel I’m in great company.

Excellent

Brilliant subject. I’ve worked with people who were from an institution who should never have been there.
Rosemary Kennedy episode was very good.

Love love love

I have powered through all of the episodes so far and I’ll be sad when I have to wait week to week. Interesting stories and unlike any other podcast I’ve heard
