Such terrific storytelling from Jacquelyn Landgraf. If you've ever tried to recreate the earth-shattering feeling of being young and hearing music that seemed to change your life, this will resonate. Deirdre, our humble narrator, can feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially early on, but give her time -- you'll be rewarded with a genuinely touching story which is psychologically authentic and immensely satisfying. Nate Weida's music is genuinely great, too. And there are feral peacocks.

There has been some really good parts to this podcast, but episode 6 is outstanding; as Deirdre’s world collapses, you feel her pain, the hopelessness and then as it comes together, I felt guilty for the voyerourism on such a private and personal moment. Brilliant writing, brilliant narration, well done I was left truly moved👍👍
