Art Matters is hands down my favourite art podcast, and one I’ve recommended many times. It chooses engaging topics, researches them thoroughly and presents the findings in a way that is accessible and listenable! Highly recommended, especially for those who want to start engaging with art history but may be daunted by the field

This pod has really helped not only by being so informative, but also Ferren’s mindful delivery, calming manner and great passion for her subject. If there were a best practice for podcasts I think it may be this x

Only recently discovered this podcast and I’m very glad that I did. The episodes are really informative and fun and I’m learning a lot about different areas of art I haven’t touched on before :)

Love the way this podcast delves in to art history and makes it relevant to today. Start with the vagina episode if you need convincing! Ferren Gipsen was born to host, I could listen to her all day.

I love this podcast, I find it very soothing and informative. It looks at art in ways that have never occurred to me and is very accessible.

There’s a good podcast struggling to get out, but the background music is intrusive and unnecessary which makes the presenter hard to hear properly, especially as she has an irritating American accent.

Fair and balanced podcast which is forward-thinking, well presented and researched, and easy to listen to! Love the variety of topics covered, some known to me and some new, which often feel relevant to present day!

Have just found this and have only listened to a few so far but they’ve been great. Just starting to learn about art (at 53!) and this is a nice way to begin - such different topics intelligently discussed yet very accessible.
