Description

Revisiting is the only podcast you'll ever need for nostalgia. We're talking pink Motorola Razrs, Windows XP and Smirnoff Ice, all topped off with a Von Dutch cap and spritzed with Glo by J-Lo.

20-somethings Laura K and Laura G have decided to mine their digital diaries – old text messages, Facebook statuses, and emails to Mum - in attempt to relive those halcyon days when life was all about whether you had enough money to buy that Paul's Boutique bag.

Each week, the girls also explore a cultural phenomenon from down the generations as they spin the Wheel of Nostalgia. What's it going to land on next? Now CDs? Pizza Express? An analytical re-watch of Clueless? The possibilities are almost literally endless, and almost certainly embarrassing.

Find out every week on Revisiting, podcasting's most hilarious trip down memory lane.

Amazing podcast

I listen to a lot of podcasts and this one has been consistently brilliant and entertaining and well put together

The hosts

Love the theme of the podcast, and love Laura whose diary it is. However, I feel like the other host looks down her nose at laura and acts like she’s better than her. She comes across quite mocking and like Laura’s thoughts/feelings are embarrassing. She doesn’t sound like a true friend.

I can’t believe I’ve just found this!

Thanks ladies I’m loving this podcast. I’m assuming I’m about 3 years older than you but my experiences so far are incredibly similar. It’s so heartwarming to know I wasn’t the only teenager that believed that no one ever “got” me and that I was all alone 😂

Trip down memory lane

Great show! The two Laura’s are hilarious, their memories and entries from the diary’s really being you back to the mid-noughties. I binged the first 3-4 series summer 2018 and looked forward to subsequent Monday mornings. However since series 6 I do feel like it is loosing its way, podcasts are not as long and memories/topics are now very fleeting..

So nostalgic!

I loved binging the first few seasons of this podcast, Laura K’s diary entries are hilarious yet so relatable for those of us who grew up in the 00’s. Still listen every week, however i do think it’s fading now that the focus has shifted slightly from diary entries to general life

Prepare for some laugh out loud moments with this show as they reminisce about growing up

Sadly fading

First few series at school/college were really good. The University and after episodes are declining rapidly for decent content and I'm close to stopping listening altogether. Good while it lasted.

Absolutely hilarious

Currently binge listening on a 9 hour overnight sleeper bus across Vietnam. Having to hold in my laughter and urge to shout “OMG me too” as those around me sleep. A must listen and a proper good trip down memory lane!

Posh girls swearing is "SO cringe", but...

Hearing posh girls swearing is "SO cringe" as they would say. But apart from that, and them inhabiting a completely different world from me, where all girls are called Laura, and "house music competition" is nothing to do with house music, the podcast is engrossing and hilarious, especially Series 2, Episode 1, which is where I am at the moment :-)

A must listen!!

Being born in 1996 but have kept a diary since 2004, I absolutely adore this podcast. Plus these two are like having two older sisters whilst being sassy and cool. Keep it up!!

A girl from Hemel

I have recently discover this AMAZING podcast and it has brought up so many memories from being at school/living in Hemel!! The best bit was remembering the Hemel modelling completion, which I entered and was not successful, and criticising all the girls that got in the paper (sorry Laura)! Wish I kept a diary but listening to yours is just as good! 💖

😎😂😘

As a man in my 40s I wasn’t sure I would like this....
I found out about it while listening to the football ramble. I now listen religiously, and can’t get enough of the Laura’s. Very funny, very honest, and very eye opening insight into what I can expect to be going through my daughters mind.
Highly recommend to absolutely anyone, there is something for everyone

So funny! People who see me giggling whilst listening & walking down the street must think I’m a nutter! Brings back so many memories. So relatable to my teenage years! Brilliant podcast. Addictive!

You should do an episode with the youtuber miniminter who also went to berkhamsted in Roman kemps year. He has over 7 million subscribers and is part of the sidemen. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely on point

This is hilarious and I’m enjoying reliving some of the things that happened during my own teenage years but also the insight into both of the Laura’s worlds. Incredibly entertaining, but also a realistic depiction of adolescence. Easy to relate to!

Amazing

Stunning work. Laura & Laura are incredibly funny and frank. With nothing hidden it is such an important podcast. I’d urge all teens or parents of teens to listen for advice and all twenty somethings to listen for a nostalgia hit!

Brilliant!!

I'm so cross with myself, I only discovered this podcast recently and have binge listened to nearly all the back episodes. Got to ration myself now. Great work girls, you're fabulous.
I just love these two, don't really care what they do as long as they keep it coming.

A hilarious nostalgia trip!

Honestly one of the funniest podcasts I have ever heard. A must listen for anyone who reminisces about bad driving lessons, school snow days and first crushes.

Turn back time

I was recently recommended this podcast and I immediately felt like ‘the Lauras’ and I were all sitting around in my living room, drinking fairly decent wine/gin and having a giggle, reminiscing about our school/college days.
Then I get poked with last years witches broom and asked why is it chicken nuggets again...
Well done ladies. Love these shows.

Have been loving listening to this podcast and reliving GCSEs and general noughties nostalgia. And the hilarious cringiness and teenage melodrama is brilliant.

Loving the Lauras

Absolutely adore this podcast - it is hilarious, thought-provoking and so relatable! My Mum and I have laughed so much listening on long car journeys and I’ve constantly chimed with Laura’s wacky stories, emotional rollercoasters and philosophical musings - so many similarities to my own diaries.
Keep Podding Lauras ❤️

As a 30-something man I have no real frame of reference for this show, but the Laura’s are fantastic presenters; funny, sweet, silly and utterly listenable.

Love this podcast!

I’ve only just discovered Berkhamsted Revisited and it is definitely my new favourite podcast. It’s a genuine struggle to keep a straight face on the tube, so I don’t look like a crazy person laughing on my own!

Old Berkhamstedian

I actually went to Berkhamsted School and finished last summer so listening to this has brought back some great memories! It is also very amusing hearing stories wildly similar to the ones my friends and I experienced - clearly nothing has changed :)

Nostalgic and amazing!

This podcast will give you ultimate nostalgia in the best possible way - makes me feel like maybe I wasn’t so crazy after all as a 15/16 year old! Both Laura’s are hilarious in sharing their stories of cringe adolescent encounters, and being from near Berkhamsted myself (Harpenden to be precise), and knowing people who went to the school adds extra resonance!
I also looked up the video of Laura K being kissed by Basshunter at the Trinity May Ball - it did really happen and it’s just as funny as she describes!

Enjoyable listen

I found this show as it was reccommended by Luke from the Luke and Pete show, the two Laura's discuss in great detail and humour the diary that Laura K has written from being a young teenager! No detail is spared as the two talk about cringing first experiences they've had. It helps to make Monday's not too bad!

Love it :)

I found this podcast accidentaly and I'm glad I did. When I'm listening to it I feel like I'm back to my school days and chatting with my girlfriends. Even if I'm not British, schoolgirls and their problems appearently are very much the same around the World. Thank you for making this podcast!
