I absolutely love these podcasts. So well done and respectful

I’m sorry, but a ‘struggling young woman’ who may be self harming... does NOT need to ****ing take a pic of herself showing her ****ing inner labia as a mechanism for recovery. What the ****ing ****. Then KR’s lawyer (who admits KR ‘may have seen’ some of the collateral), accuses the government of being sexist? Am I missing something? Sounds like a psycho male, I mean, really messed up, protected by other males (and money, THAT’S NOT EVEN HIS OWN!) and getting away with chronic, widespread, abuse. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

The first season was brilliant - as gripping and intriguing as the best true crime/cult podcasts out there but with the added benefit of a more personal touch. However, for the second season the presenter and storyline are switched up completely. I'm sure the story is told with just as much journalistic flair, but it is a complete change of tone and as someone with a fear of flights there is just no way I can listen any longer! Would have been much better as two separate podcast series!

Very well researched and put together. Binge worthy. Just wish there were more episodes!

Brilliant, no-nonsense podcast. Great that the show brought both points of view and asked some tough questions. Highly recommend it!

Very good series, the journalist didn’t shy away from asking difficult questions in The final episodes either which was good. Worth a listen!!

It’s ok but a bit dramatic

The reporter is very very chummy with their subject and doesn’t seem to explore much outside her testimony. Makes it much weaker and less impactful than it could otherwise be.

The other reviews? What on earth? Didn’t your Mum tell you that if you haven’t anything nice to say then don’t bother?

This podcast is beautifully put together and is unbelievably gripping. I hadn’t heard of this cult until I googled it. Must have been living under a rock at that point. Everyone I have recommended it to have binge listened. Huge congratulations to all involved.

Really good podcast, although it’s too soft on Sarah Edmondson, I don’t believe her story of being a total victim. The way she treated her mother was disgusting, she should feel very guilty about that.

It’s so hard to believe this is reality. A very interesting look at the people who join cults. I still don’t honestly understand why they do, but it’s interesting to look under the curtain. A great podcast.

A disturbing slice of reality in the well monied white west. Intriguing and emotive accounts of a dark chapter in suburban life. Bizarre and shocking.

I could listen to this podcast forever. Just a fascinating series of events and stories told by interesting genuine people. In the same realm of the great podcasts Serial, Someone Knows Something, S Town and Missing Richard Simmons.

Oh. My. God. Is it an affectation? Fascinating topic but if none of the participants can talk without scrambling every word... aural nightmare.

Really good. Could be a great documentary series
