Great interviewing, and interesting, diverse topics

Really enjoying the deeper dives and conversations into some of the great TED talks I’ve watched previously. Chris’s natural curiosity shines through in his interviewing, which makes it a very engaging conversation to listen to.

One of the best

Chris' recent chat with Yuval Noah Harari was brilliant. Chris is a fantastic interviewer and comes across as an all round nice chap.

Best podcast on the internet

Absolutely fantastic. Just binge listened to ten episodes over two days on a long drive. Episodes covering topics that you may not necessarily seek out will leave you feeling enlightened and inspired. Chris does such an incredible job of teasing out the best of his guests.

I didn’t know what I was missing until ...

I stumbled upon the TED interviews while painting our apartment. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for, I just knew that I was increasingly impatient with the lack of considered and objective thought in the popular media. I began by listening to names familiar to me but was soon ploughing my way through any interview that presented itself rather like the hungry caterpillar. I learn as much from the questions as I do from the answers as my mind has found the gear, the cog to to turn on my system 2 thinking (thank you you DK). Thank you. I didn’t realise how much I missed thinking. And now I have rediscovered it I am excited by what I am going to do with it.

In a world of rapidly increasing and wide ranging podcast content, this show pulls me in as soon as it is released every week. It covers an eclectic mix of topics with some of the most thought provoking and forward think brains of our generation. Chris Anderson is fantastic.

Amazing

It’s really great to have TED talks in a Q&A format. It’s a great extension to the talks.

A breath of intellectual fresh air

This podcast makes me wish I had studied Philosophy (perhaps I will one day!)...I love the measured approach to asking questions. Looking at topics from every direction and then asking more questions. It’s a breathe of fresh air right now at a time when everyone seems to have the answer (which is causing a lot of trouble worldwide!).
Thank you, Chris Anderson, for your thoughtful and honest approach. The discussions around religion, technology, and morality have given me hope and in a place where I had felt like there was no hope left. Thank you. 🙏

Inspiring and unmissable

A wonderful enhancement to the TED experience. Chris Anderson has such a warm and thoughtful, yet still highly incisive, style of interviewing. Each conversation is invariably elevated to new and unexpected levels. All of the interviews are superb but for me the standouts are the conversations with David Deutsch, Sir Ken Robinson, and Sam Harris. The TED Interview mines a similar intellectual space to Sam Harris's own long running 'Waking Up' podcast. When it comes to engaging the important ideas and thinkers of our current times these two podcasts are unquestionably amongst the very best that are out there. Unmissable, a joy to listen to, and I'm delighted to learn that a second season is on the way. Thank you Chris Anderson, and long may this continue!

Sir Ken Robinson

A very encouraging and enlightening discussion. I was already a great fan of Sir Ken, and I now hope other interviews in the Ted series are as stimulating.

The Ted interview podcasts

I think these podcasts are great. I’ve just listened to the talk from one of my greatest inspirations Daniel Kahneman, and it was great to be able to listen to him rather than find the time to watch a video, which I’m increasingly struggling to find time to do from day to day. Sound quality is excellent and it means I have greater access to the excellent content the Ted group consistently deliver. Thank you.

Awesome informative & thought-provoking Interview

Just listened to the interview with Dalia Mogahed and felt compelled to write a review. What an eye-opening and insightful conversation she had with Chris which tackled many aspects of Islam - some difficult ones that were not shied away from. This is a very informtive and thought provoking interview.

deep, light and full of love and laughter

Wisdom in a package. Gilbert's life infused personality and curiosity and willingness to bow down and 'go with it' approach to life is deeply spiritual or light depending on how you want to see it, but it's the real thing. A massive comfort I'm sure to anyone who is struggling with grief or any creative process, it's a joy to listen to her.
