Quite simply the best Dylan podcast. The format allows for wide-ranging discussions, and I never cease to learn something new. Bob’s life and work is endlessly interesting, and this podcast always generates fascinating discussion. Thanks Kerry and Lucas!

A must for Dylan fans
For any interview based podcast the main components to make it great are good well informed presenters and interesting interviewees and ‘Is it Rolling Bob-Talking Dylan’ has this by the truckload. Many laugh out loud moments, interesting debate around albums and songs and just brilliant stories of everyone’s favourite song and dance man. Have now listened to each of the episodes available a couple of times and always look forward to the next instalment. Keep it rolling guys.

Our favourite (not just Dylan) podcasts
Witty and informed conversations, great guests bringing different perspectives. Plus selflessly curated Spotify playlists to flesh out the podcasts.

A must for Dylan fans
These are really informed podcasts. Great guests, and the right balance between being informative, giving behind the scenes insights and gentle humour.

Torn between Jupiter and Apollo
A rich seam of Bob related trivia that bring together his disparate and many phases through the eyes and ears of those who have come to him at different junctures through the years. Every episode reminds you of Bob album that you’d forgotten about or even dismissed and leads to you re-discovering/discovering it a-new. Great mixture of guests and some spine tingling readings of specific lyrics from the one true master.

Excellent, in depth conversations on all things Dylan...
Really enjoyable conversations between Lucas, Kerry and an interesting roll call of guests about all things Dylan (the good and the bad!). It’s made me listen to some of his music in a new light. Definitely recommended.

Enthusiastic and honest
These chaps do an excellent job. The world of Dylan is labyrinthine and enduring. I always find new ways to explore his works and these podcasts open up new avenues to do so. The authors aren’t slavish however and there is refreshing honesty in their views.
Keep it going guys! I’m loving it.

Great Format
Enjoyable podcast - format allows freedom to go off piste and talk about other artists and it’s great to hear what Bobs music means to people on a personal level. However some guests are inevitably better than others so for that reason 4 stars not 5

Mixed bag
What you get is either a fruitful discussion (eg Barb Jungr, Paul Morley) or tedious ignorance (K Williams).

Excellent and over too quickly!
Thoughtful and thought provoking, offering lots of fascinating insight and opinion. A perfect encapsulation and expression of what it’s like to be more than a fan, consumed by the work of an artist. Each episode could easily be half as long again, always over too soon. Keep ‘em coming.

Longer episodes please
Any chance of longer episodes? I groaned when you said "time to wrap up" in the Kenneth Cranham interview. Informed, passionate conversation. Pretty much the perfect podcast.

Quality Dylan Chat
Well, if all of the episodes turn out to be as good as the first two, then I’m hooked! Informative, informal, incisive, insightful.

What joy... to hear intelligent people having the time and space to talk with such enthusiasm, such insight and such perception about the wonder and mystery that is Mr. Robert Zimmerman. When do I get to hear the next???
Episode 2 - great to hear a debate as to what the waitress in ‘Highlands’ looks like! This cracked me up! And really interesting to get a very bright 14-year-old’s take on Dylan - a lovely rapport in this episode between all four participants.

Superb
Really lovely genuine conversation - it’s like meeting someone for the first time and realising you have all the same interests! Brought a smile to my face. Thank you!

Episode 2
What a treat to hear David Morrissey and his son, Gene talk on this episode. I can only imagine what it must mean for them to have this to listen to. For fans of David’s and Dylan’s, it is pure gold. Thank you.

I love Dylan more now..
Intrigued to hear things I just didn’t know about Dylan. I’ll be following this podcast for sure!

A fine debut.
Walks that enviable line between laid back and highly-informed. Very much looking forward to future episodes.

Essential listening
Fascinating. This first ep is engaging and thought provoking and our two hosts clearly know their stuff but give their first guest plenty of space to dig deep as to what Dylan means to them. Great stuff.
