Quickly became a favourite
It feels like I listen to podcasts predominantly by Americans, but it’s so refreshing to hear an interviewer with my own accent! Sean clearly has the gift of the gab and can talk to anyone; he’s witty and clever, whilst also down-to-earth and funny. But the thing I appreciate most with this podcast is Sean’s openness and honesty. This always reflects well in his conversations and leads to a really good level of discussion with a wide variety of guests. I can confidently recommend this podcast to anyone in my family, friends or colleagues (which I definitely can’t always say with others). Love that Sean is going from strength to strength, and long may it continue.

Thank you
Only recently found your podcast and it’s perfect entertainment/education on my morning stroll so thank you. Especially loved your chat with Aimen but mainly Jake Warren, seriously fascinating way of reporting. Oh and thank you, I’m now back in Conflicted again haha !!

Great podcast
Really interesting topics on Blethered. Had some great guests on.
S1 and S2 intro tune was great, not sure how he wrangled that one!

Cheered me up!
It has been a tough old year so far and this podcast has really helped me to keep going. Sean is such a good interviewer, gets interesting guests on and has a natural and engaging conversation with them. He is sharp and witty. His latest podcast ‘Hilarious Humiliations’ truly made me chuckle at a time when I didn’t think I could! I also loved the interviews with Mhairi Black and Rose Reilly. It is a genuine pleasure to listen to. You will come away with insights into other people’s lives and real issues such as mental health. It is honestly just so good! You won’t regret giving it a go :-)

Had no idea this existed
Well chuffed that it does by the way. Amazing to hear a good Young Scottish voice on a podcast. I struggle with mental health issues because I am dyslexic and I got really good at school despite having to work 10x harder than people who aren’t.
I ended up getting into university straight into 3rd year (in 2015) after 2 years at college then I totally spiralled into a depression and ended up dropping out. I was 21 when this happened and now I’m 24 still suffering the aftermath but I am a lot better since I am in therapy now and trying to be more open about my difficulties instead of bottling it up and trying to control it.
I just wanted to say that because I am listening to the latest one with Aaron and you don’t know how much this means to me to hear another young Scottish guy talk about this. I can relate because my whole goal was to get to university and when I got there I was totally miserable because as a dyslexic it takes so much out of me to do any education full time. Cheers. I have massive respect for you for opening about this.

Well worth a listen
Loved this podcast from the start. Great range of topics. Loved the episode with Darren Connell felt this was a very open and honest episode which I’m sure will resonate with quite a few people’s personal thoughts and journeys. We all have a lot more in common as humans than we think and I feel if we all opened up more we would realise were not alone as we can feel sometimes. One if the best pieces of advice is when an emotional storm comes let it pass before you react or act on it and never eat a breakfast roll 🙃 very down to earth and worth a listen 👍🏻

Great podcast
Great guests, great chats, great subjects and great banter! Love this podcast, been travelling away from Scotland for a while now and it makes me feel at home listening to people talk about genuine issues in the place where I from/grew up. Keep doing what you're doing!

Great podcast
Listened to a few episodes and I’m hooked. Can’t wait to listen to all of them. Very easy listening and so funny, and relatable.

Sean does not mourn the wicked.
And neither he should.

Enjoyable
I’ve enjoyed most of the podcasts and find them to be relatable and often humorous, sometimes touching. My only 2 minor complaints are that the volume can seem low at times, especially the guests’ microphones, and the irregularity with which they’re released. Otherwise I’d recommend to friends and will continue to subscribe myself.

1 star reviewers have no clue
Found the podcast after hearing Sean on an episode of drunk therapy, working my way from the first episode and I really enjoy listening to all the people he’s had on so far. The gambling and depression episodes in particular have stood out but that’s not to discount any of the others. Here’s hoping you get limmy!

He’s thrown a kettle over a pub. What’ve you done?
Cracking podcast, exploring important issues, not bad for a “posh” boy.

MAGNIFICENT
Great podcast which plays host to an interesting array of guests and discussion topics. The perfect blend of serious discussion, light hearted chat and humour.

A cracking pod and a cracking guy. Refreshing that someone is tackling so many issues. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant and Real
A really down to earth podcast allowing real people to tell their stories. Although some of the talk is on some really important issues, there is a great balance between this and light heartedness. A great listen

Excellent Podcast
This podcast is superb, Sean talks to normal people about a range of very interesting topics, no matter how serious the issue both Sean and his guests always keep the podcast entertaining and humorous. I have recommended this to all of my friends and it’s universally liked.

Absolutely class
Class podcast. An essential listen. JvD

Worth a listen
Like the James English podcast minus the brain dead host and sleverring gangsters. The host is coherent but most definitely not a ‘posh boy’ as described by the moronic Emma below. He knows how to hold an actual conversation without resorting to sycophancy and lazy tropes.
