He was born Hamish Watson, a surfie dude from Sydney - but he could morph into whatever you needed him to be. Hamish is due to be sentenced to jail in early 2019 for swindling a handful of victims out of more than $7m. But these crimes are just the final pages in a resume too thick to staple; for decades he's duped victims in the US, Canada, Britain, Hong Kong and Australia. How did he do it? Completely Hooked

I have really enjoyed this podcast and have been frequently checking to see when every new episode is released. The presenter Greg Bearup has a fantastic approach to interviewing the victims and is very easy to listen too. The story has been intriguing and different to the normal true crime podcasts I listen too. I really hope the Australian produces more podcasts as I have really enjoyed their xotnent!

Narcissistic conman

Extraordinary. Also a psychopath and con man. This is the story of his targets and how he fleeced them. Reminds me of how Trump and his family are.

Absolutely brilliant. The character in this is perfect for a movie, shame that if it is ever made, most of it would be true! Brilliant reporting, keep them coming!

Better versions exist

This is an okay podcast, but it seems to be following the trend of similar podcasts without adding its own flair. It doesn’t build up suspense well, and seems to spend a long time focusing on and going over less interesting details, meaning it isn’t very gripping. It’s an alright listen, but I’d recommend finding one of the other similar podcasts which will likely be more engaging.

The Australian has proven that it’s journalists are ambassadors for humanity and justice. This podcast is shaping up to be as inspiring and effective as its predecessor ‘The Teachers Pet’ which has paved the way for future investigations and hopefully a glimmer of sunlight in an ever darkening world of malice and secularism.
