On John 9 I also think that the religious leaders refused to believe the man was blind, because to admit it would then dispute the cultural belief that blindness was a punishment for sin. To believe that the man was healed from blindness would mean that his sin was forgiven by God. To admit that his sin was forgiven by God would mean accepting that Jesus is God.

Their dispute wasn’t against the man or his parents, the dispute was against Jesus.

My ultimate go to! Always offer so much wisdom, they’re so real about their journeys which are really relatable. It feels like I’m talking to my friends and gaining a lot of sound biblical truth. It’s beyond refreshing. Thank you Jackie and Preston! May God bless you exceedingly and abundantly.
