I am an avid listener to podcasts and this is one of the best. It covers a much wider areas of local and global politics than the title suggests. Each episode is a well constructed narrative infused with Brian Klass’ engaging personality. He wears his intellectual and academic credentials very lightly which makes this easy and enjoyable to listen to.

Absolutely loved this podcast. Digs under the surface of the conversations we don't want to have. Informative, well researched and brilliantly presented. If you're interested in how the world really works, then you should listen to this.

I have listened to so many podcasts but boy, Power Corrupt is in a league of its own. It's an informative and well source podcast that you learn so much stuff from. Thank you, Brian and the team for this gem.

Absolutely essential listening in 2019 and beyond.

Overall a massive fan of these podcasts, very interesting and have highlighted areas of history and current affairs I don’t knew anything about. However in the latest podcast (last resort) there were two major issues I had, one being that you referred to the troubles in Ireland as a ‘low level war’ which I find very offensive and misleading and theta you also claimed Jeremy Corbyn has ruled out using the nuclear deterrence which again is misleading, he said it’s a last resort but hasn’t ruled out using it. Two points of issue in an overall enjoyable podcast.

Well researched, structured and narrated podcast - has helped me uncover loads of books which branch off from stories covered in the episodes!

Really interesting and insightful listen - if not a little depressing because of the levels of cruelty and greed that exists in societies around the world - definitely recommend !

So here’s a recommendation from a boy who listens to, too much news - this stuff is news, deeply disturbing, often fascinating, mostly depressing, and yet - strangely amusing. I suspect that when AI has ‘wiped’ humanity, it will reference this podcast in it’s summary report to ‘future’ Facebook’s core CPU.

Phenomenal insight into the darker region and reality of our world. An addictive listen and will be highly recommending to everyone, informative and hard hitting enjoyed every episode.

Just like in his books, Brian’s storytelling, mixing academic research with anecdotes and a touch of humour, brings entertainment to the field of political science.

Brian has travelled the world over the years to produce top class research on the increasing authoritarianism under the garb of democracy in the modern world. His podcast on how elections are manipulated should no doubt prove to be an important resource for anyone interested in understanding the gaps in our democracy the world over today, and hopefully using this knowledge to uphold voters’ agency in whatever little or big way possible.
