From the creators of Inside Psycho, Inside the Exorcist, and Inside Jaws, comes a new immersive audio biopic about the making of the original 1977 Star Wars. It was a movie made on a shoestring and dumped into a handful of movie theaters. And then it changed the world. This is the story of George Lucas and his dream. We take you inside the stories of the people who struggled to make the original classic and the people who did their very best to stop it dead. Now playing in all galaxies.
This was great. Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw in 1977 at aged 6!

Truly wonderful
As a colossal Star Wars fan since the age of 4, I was so interested when I heard Mark Ramsey talk about this on the Rebel Force Radio podcast. I’m so happy I took the time to listen to this dramatisation as it’s beautifully done especially the final chapter 7. Goodbyes - I dare you to not find that tear jerking. As a Father myself, I utterly relate to the closing comments from the George Lucas interview about Princess Leia being immortalised.
Thank you Mark for this portrayal; I’m sure I will listen to it again.

Really excellent
This is a dramatisation of the lives of the people involved in Star Wars - primarily George Lucas. It took me a couple of eps to get into it but then I listened to the rest in one go. Very well done and at times very moving.

Brillaint.
Emotional, clever, humorous, caring. Just brilliant, no more needs to be said, give it a listen, you’ll be glad you did.

If 6/5 was a thing, then...
Simply awesome!

The best of the ‘Inside’ series so far
ISW is the best of the Inside run so far. You get swept up in the story and can really picture the scenarios portrayed.
My only criticism would be that it went from well-paced and considered, to rushed and messy by the final couple of episodes. I would’ve preferred 10 episodes, with more info on the filming experiences and the actors coping with the immediate aftermath of the success.
Over all though, a great series, well worth it

So much better
Loved the first 2 'Inside' series, but Jaws was a major letdown due to (in my opinion) a change in writing style and an overabundance of advertising. The ads in particular really plagued it and fragmented the listening flow.
This still contains ads, but it's much less intrusive, and it's such a better show for it. Also the story stays focused on the story in hand and (unlike Jaws) it's not padded out with other related content.
If you like Star Wars, if you like the other 'Inside' series, then this is a return to form. Highly recommended.
