Great endeavour by Mike Parry and the comedy, stories and insights grow more and more entertaining as regular guest such as Jake, LAJ and Sam becoming more of a fixed roster. Look forward to it ever week!

Porky and Leslie Ann as a duo are fantastic to listen to. They compliment each other tremendously with Leslie Ann’s naughty side and Porky trying to behave himself it really is a fantastic listen.

Greater reliance on comedy making the show more appropriate to shorter length.

Love the podcasts Mike. I just have a comment about sound levels. You sound super loud but Leslie sounds like she’s in the room next door..

Porky took a lot of stick for his early solo podcasts which I felt really unfair.

However, in the last few months with his “guests” it has been fantastic. Especially with LAJ.

He really is one of the country’s best broadcasters and his podcasts are well worth a listen and definitely my favourite.

I’m so glad he has split from the self obsessed Mike Graham, whose arrogance has risen ever greater than it ever was, although I stopped listening to his bully boy approach a few months ago.

To end on a positive.

The recent podcast with LAJ was brilliant love hearing the old stories about Fleet Street . And listening to porky and LAJ talk about her Dad was very moving. What a life he led keep up the great work Porky

Great to see this podcast in apples new and noteworthy section. Well deserved. Absolutely hilarious. Genuinely makes me laugh out loud. Porky and Jacob work brilliantly as a duo. Entertaining!

Very funny with the exception of when Lesley Ann Joseph is a guest. Her feminist views don’t go at all well with Porky’s view on life and to hear him sucking up to her is very cringe worthy.

I just delete all the episodes that have her on.

Would love Porky to do an in depth look at Premiership refs with his excellent, probing, journalistic skills. (Not Sky sensationalism which lacks impartial journalism).

To include looking at VAR which has made little benefit to the game as it is still run by refs. Why not a team in the VAR room comprising a ref, an ex forward and an ex defender. It would be fairer and achieve the original intentions of VAR. Go Porkmeister

I thought Porky was loud & shouted a lot but Jacob is another level, wouldn’t be a bad pod if he toned it down a bit & wasn’t trying to blow out my speakers.

I love Porky and I still listen to this podcast, some of it is amusing. Lesley Anne is good, Jacob was good but the arrow Fletcher is dull and a lot of what he says is incorrect. Ultimately this is the poor man’s Two Mike’s, sorry Porky!

Just awful

It has started to take off now that he has a sidekick from the 10th episode onwards.

Porky & Brazil podcast is what we need twice a week.

At first, I was shi*e it was like a madman's last words before going on a shooting spree.....erm.erm.erm is what was mostly heard. Now we have a co-host it's much better. The only thing is the majority of the time they agree with good old porky. I liked Jacob he was a good breath of fresh air. Ben was meh seemed to try and mimic porkies rants which go off-topic. Lesley is very good to listen to and very knowledgeable. So yeah, maybe have a bit more variety than Ben and Lesley perhaps a monthly or bi-weekly host would be better. I do miss the two mikes at 28 it's was a great listen to and much loved by me and my dad on every small/long car journey we room. But this will suffice for now until you kiss and make up.

Hi I’ve listened recently and the ones with LAJ are much better so hopefully she’s back regularly, but the one I listened to today with Alan Brazil was superb so who is mg again lol Tim bcfc Kro

Love Mike, but he has lost his way here. The rants without humour, didn’t manage to listen to a full episode.

After finding a partner to bounce with, this show has taken off. Keep the tales of your day-to-day mundanity coming! Keep using a partner and keep the shows coming. ps. Porky brilliant. Ben Fletcher thinks he’s very clever but is clearly an idiot

Glad to have Porky back. The ramblings about Coronation Street were very funny. I do agree that he needs someone to bounce off though.

Since I originally wrote this review Porky has introduced same great co-hosts with my favourite being Jacob Hawley. Keep them coming as now fantastic listening. Still miss old MG by his side though.

As the title says, this started off diabolically but it’s getting continually better. Though, we need a concrete host. Personally quite liked Ben Fletcher and also like Lesley though Jacob wasn’t really my taste. I’m sure whomever you pick a great duo can be formed.

Porky, I think you need to have co-host on your podcast that offers a different perspective to you. Your latest podcasts with Ben Fletcher appear to be two men agreeing on 99% of the things they talk about, which doesn't really make for exciting listening in my opinion. Im not taking anything away from Ben, who says some very interesting things but Porky, I feel you excel when you are having your opinions challenged, as opposed to them

being agreed with.

Maybe you and Ben can have some discussions on things you disagree on and it might be interesting to see how that goes!

It took a while but Porky has now found a great formula. Not quite as good as 2 mikes but it’s getting there

* Edited - see below * Never missed a second of The Two Mikes, literally made my week & used them to get me through work, re-listen to get me to sleep at night when stressed, travelling & saved them for holidays. Loved them. I enjoy Parry with Brazil & others too...

However, Mike can’t be selective in reading these reviews... I’m Team Porky but this solo mission is doomed to failure. Mark my words.

Take your ego for a walk round the block, when you get back decide who your new co-host is going to be. I love everything you do but can’t stand this, episode one & it’s in the quicksand already.

* After searching the podcast world for a Porky replacement I have dabbled in a few listens elsewhere but nothing has filled the huge void that The Two Mike’s had in my life, sounds dramatic yes but they were class. I left the above review a few months ago & all true, hurt, annoyed, appalled at the lone venture with no warning...I came back to see if anything has changed & stumbled upon the 6 episodes with Jacob the young comedian. These are in my opinion the way forward for now, Mike owns the room when he isn’t alone & they had good chemistry & a nice dynamic of old & young. Thanks for listening & please stick with Jacob & push on! Attack the day Porkmeister!!

Not a bad show when with mike graham and last couple of episodes with young comic again not bad but porky parry on his again today is just embarrassing. Sounds like the ramblings of the drunk guy in a pub who you do your best to avoid

This is a must listen to since Jacob has been added to the show. Excellent balance to the show.

Porky back to his best in episode 20. Stories from his ‘journals’ and back singing. He certainly has got his mojo back with new sidekick Jake. Crazy ideas like deporting cats will have you in stitches!

Still lots to enjoy here but the sheer brilliance of The Two Mikes is a big miss in lots of our lives. You literally made me laugh my way out loud of a long depression. I don’t think the two of you realise how precious your partnership was, a match made in heaven.... or hell perhaps. Some of the greatest partnerships had a lot of tension behind the scenes but that can bring the best out of both sides. Please both do all you can to swallow any pride and imagine the publicity storm if you were to reunite before it’s to late and people start forgetting how good you were together. Fingers crossed 🤞

Like many, I am a huge fan of the two mikes, it was brilliant radio and compulsive viewing. It was comedy gold. Planet Porky is complete drivel and offers nothing.
