Get Played makes me laugh consistently every week and is without doubt my favourite podcast!

Best games podcast (along with filthy casuals) that is genuinely funny and clearly presented by people who know and care about what they talk about. Great stuff

I end up driving around a lot for my job and all I do is listen to podcasts, simply put How did this get played is my favourite.

Really interesting choices for games to review, great hosts who are informative and funny - an excellent show

I wish you had longer output as I listen to them over and over again. There isn’t any podcasts I listen to as much as this one because it feels like friends talking. No matter how much Nick tries to give it structure. Keep at it everybody. It’s the highlight of my week when there is a new one.

Tune in every week to hear Matt say his patented catchphrase “Hello everyone!” then I skip through the rest, but the Hello Everyone! is really worth the five stars in and of itself

Great show, charming presenters and good guests!

Ive been listening to this podcast for the last few months and enjoyed it so far until the most recent episode, Kitten Squad. The comment about PETA spreading ‘Propaganda’ was very insensitive. I don’t expect the hosts to be experts on animal cruelty and I’m sure that deep down they know that any kind of harm to animals is just plain cruel, but to trivialise the work of an organisation intent on making the world and the beings that inhabit it a fairer and more peaceful place seemed a bit harsh.

Maybe they were just going with the flow and agreeing with their guest Siobhan Thompson, who was the main offender in this episode with her obvious political agenda.

To be clear, i’m not an extreme animal rights activist or anything like that but some of the comments just seemed a bit wrong to me. I feel let down as I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard on the podcast up to now. I even thought that they handled Joey Clift’s response on the Custer’s Revenge episode with class, owning up to their colossally insensitive mistake without backtracking or making it excuses for themselves.

Now I need to look for another video games podcast to listen to while I eat my breakfast!!

A light-hearted and silly podcast that often touches on deep topics due to the terrible subject matter of many of the games they play. The Joey Clift episode is amazing. I fully respect everyone on the podcast for engaging in a great discussion about tokenisation and minority representation.

Charmless presenters with annoying voices. Thought this would be much better than it is. They’re trying to be like a video game version of ‘how did this get made’, but it’s just annoying, boring and juvenile.

I love Doughboys so when I heard the ad for this I had to check it out and I wasn’t disappointed. Hopefully the episode is well received and we will get to hear more episodes soon.
