Nostalgic movie review show hosted by Whatever Entertainment team, Dave and Chris. The guys go back in time to review some wonderful and truly awful movies from the days before streaming and even DVD's and had to go to the video store to pick up the latest entertainment.

Love this niche podcast! I was born much later than when many of these films came out, and at the tail end of the VHS era. I haven’t seen many of the films reviewed in fact. After seeking out Karate Kid reviews, I stumbled upon this absolute GEM.
The hosts’ chemistry and banter really makes this enjoyable. You can enjoy their commentary and (sometimes side-tracked) conversations, whether or not you’ve seen the films in question. Recommend to all film lovers, especially those of the nostalgic bent.

Brings Back Memories!!
My new favourite podcast is The VHS Strikes Back. Reliving great.....and terrible films with Chris and Dave has been great, I checked out No Retreat No Surrender first and I was hooked!
If you wanna hear two mates having a laugh and talking about their favourite films then this is the podcast for you. 👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent retro film podcast
This is a great film podcast. It really reminds me of my teenage years obsessing about film, particularly the action genre. Van Damme, Annie, Stallone, Willis etc all had a huge influence On my VHS years. Great to share this with two like minded enthusiasts!

Very very funny
This has to be one of the funniest podcasts I’ve heard. Dave and Chris often have me in stitches esp when recounting stories of their personal experiences. The crowd of admirers singing “you’re the best around” from Karate Kid made me laugh out loud.

It’s a true laugh a minute podcast
Look forward to every episode. Brilliant content and always hilarious. Whether it’s the two hosts (Chris & Dave) stitching each other up with poor movie choices or just their general light hearted take on classic, or not so classic, movies from the VHS era. Highly recommended 👍
