I listened to it for the first time and I don’t think it is as good as the Duolingo app but it is ok so I will try and find some that makes sense. I think it is brilliant to get your French pronunciation perfect so a 5 star from me!

Good french speaking speed, annoying male English voice

An excellent series of podcasts. Very interesting subject matter in understandable intermediate French. Reinforced my language learning. 20-25 minutes per podcast is ideal.

I love this podcast. It has got me back into French speaking and reignited my love for the culture in all its forms. So well produced, such good content. Wonderful.

I loved this story, although my level of French understanding is not reached here yet.

However, it’s a shame the community couldn’t have organise something like giving them a building so they meet-up without the police harassing the young people.

These podcasts are wonderful the stories are based on true life experiences and are often very moving whilst also giving insight into French culture . This is a truly wonderful learning experience - an English speaker gives you context whilst the story is told in own voice by a French speaker . Well done and thank you so much Duolingo .

This is a great podcast. Not just a fantastic for developing your French language listening but also for hearing about different aspects of French culture.

The host Ngofeen Mputubwele is engaging and provides exactly the right amount of context for the intermediate listener.

I’ve let my French slide of the years but this pod together with the app are really bringing a whole new side to my language skills. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the podcast and, although challenging to understand, it was an excellent start to intermediate French listening.

My only problem the background sounds which totally distracted my listening at times. Please lessen these.

It sounds good and educational but it’s hard to stay with it since they talk so fast. It’s hard to recall the words you’ve learnt and your mind goes blank. After I get used to them, I might be able to rate it better though.

Very good app would recommend only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is maybe you should be given more hearts or they are easier to regain when lost. Other than that this app is really helpful and an amazing learning source.

I love this app because it teaches me new things every day.! I love to learn French because it interests me in lots of different ways. As the other feedback has suggested, for beginners this is a superb way to immerse yourself within the language, the dialogue is at a good pace, great pauses to set context in English in between.

The French is at a good speed, but with micro pauses between (or within sentences) to allow you to catch up in your head. The English sections give an explanation, so you have some idea of what is likely to be coming next, meaning you have a better idea of context, and give you a longer rest between the French. The transcriptions can be followed as you go, or refered to for words you don't understant. Bravo, Duo!

These podcasts are great. Really interesting and touching stories that reflect a range of cultural issues. The level is just about right for me, i.e. I can get the gist of the French but will have to listen a few times to hear and understand it all. I won't check out the transcripts until I've done that. I hope they make some more.
