This is a breath of fresh air. Holly is a BRILLIANT host, she is so warm, insightful and charming and the guests she has for this season so far have been sooo interesting. Such a diverse mix, and each tell such a different story. I’m hooked from Chapter 1 each week. Can’t recommend it enough!

To get travel interviews and one off insight with such well travelled and interesting people really does create a winning combination! I’ve seen others say this but it really feels like the travel version of Desert Island Discs!

Absolutely loved the first two instalments of The Travel Diaries. It is a “must listen” for those who love to travel. Holly Rubenstein has such an easy manner with her guests when discussing their lives and travel highs and lows with them. It is the perfect escapism for your morning commute. I’m not sure I’ll be joining Sir Richard Branson in space, but bring on episode three of the Travel Diaries! 🏝

A podcast that is heartfelt, nostalgic and fully ignites my inner wanderlust. Hearing others (amongst others, I mean THE Sir Richard Branson) reflect on their travels makes me very reflective about my own. Who doesn’t want to take time out of their daily commute to imagine themselves on safari in Africa, in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains or romanticising over Paris.
Holly brings her inquisitive soul and all of her charm to this podcast. I mean, starring in Friends is up there with crossing the Pacific in a Hot air balloon, right?!
I never quite realised why I am so compelled by foreign hearts and exotic worlds until I heard it from Sir Richard ‘Places are people. And you find special people in every corner of the world.’ Never a truer word spoken.

Holly has a natural way of getting her guests to open up and share their favourite and most influential travel experiences - and you feel like your sat on the sofa with them, travelling the world together. Listening to Nadiya and Holly on The Travel Diaries was like eavesdropping on two friends having a chat. Nadiya talked of far flung places that I’d never heard of and I’ve spent the day dreaming about holidays to Nepal and idyllic Thai Islands. Holly’s voice is so smooth, I’m pretty sure she gargles with champagne! For all my future wanderlusting, I’ll be tuning into this podcast!

Love Holly’s relaxed, warm interviewing style - and if you follow her on instagram you’ll know she travels to some pretty amazing places herself so she knows what she’s talking about. I first came across Holly in entertainment interviews a couple of years ago and noticed immediately how great an interviewer she was. I since began following her travel exploits on Insta (well recommended if you like the podcast) so it felt like the perfect fit for her to then start The Travel Diaries. I can’t wait for my regular dose!

If you love travel and you love interviews with fascinating people this is the podcast for you! The first episode is amazing with Nadiya from GBBO...can’t wait to hear the others from the trailer (Sir Richard Branson, Ranulph Fiennes, Lucy Williams etc). I’ve already got a few holiday ideas from one episode. There are so few travel podcasts out there - this is the best one I’ve ever listened to.
