Required listening

Mando combines comedy and politics better than all the others in the “2 guys chatting” format.
They mix it up with interviews and insight.
Recommend ep half a chicken for a genuinely thought provoking piece about anxiety in late capitalism.

Required listening. Interesting topics discussed in a manner which makes it genuinely funny and easy to follow.

Important, funny and educational

Love the content. It’s timeless, you can listen to any episode at any time. It’s educational and looks at the world from a much needed view. Very creative monologues and conversations. Also ‘relatively’ well researched. Just so good. Love it. Have listened to multiple episodes more than once.

Lifechanging, tbh

Before listening, I was stuck in the loop of reading about the latest horrible thing the tories have done, feeling like there was nothing I could do about it, feeling like there was no space for even the mildest of left views and feeling hopeless. Mandos has made me step back and learn more about important political ideas beyond the current Westminister stories - and in a very accessible way. They don't shy away from discussions that will make you feel sad about the world but there's discussions that inspire hope as well. And with a lot of very funny chat mixed in as well it makes it very binge-able. It's given me the push I needed to get more involved in my union and I feel a hope and potential for positive change that I haven't felt for years.

The best one

No solidarity with other left wing podcasts. Only this one, all others must fall.

Top Podcast

Sean and Jack have leveraged their cutting-edge synergies and ideation skillsets to create a unique value proposition within the leftist infotainment podcast landscape. I just wish it was sponsored by SquareSpace.

A Body of a Podcast

I've always been someone who only follow/understand politics from the heart and my brain would get overwhelmed by relatively standard political knowledge, but this podcast teaches me the leftist politics I need to know from the brain (gaining knowledge), the heart (gaining understanding), and lungs (gaining chuckles). Cheers lads.

Real banger of a podcast

Only pod I know that could pull off starting an episode with navigating the high street via grappling hook, and build up to a monologue on the grim history of UK bioweapons testing. Great blend of history, politics, comedy, production value, and chat.

Amusing and accessible entry to left wing thought

Funny and thought provoking.

Brilliant and inspiring

This is such a gem of a podcast. Made by two up and coming left wing comedians, this manages to be funny, informative and even moving. No mean feat in any medium and I’m grateful that these two are out there plugging away at this, doing their best to make society a better place and provide a few chuckles in the process.

One of the best

Sean and Jack are great podcast hosts, both are very well informed (no porridge opinions here) and they are hilarious comedians beyond measure. At no point can you measure it.

humorous political podcast by english comedians, miraculously contains no cringe

Jack and Sean are great writers with good rapport, and their episodes show great editing skill. It's also actually funny! political podcasts can often be dry and long, and comedy podcasts can often have the politics of Your Uncle. Don't get me started about political comedy podcasts- this is the real deal.

Nothing else like it. Brillian.

Really loved this show for a while now. It's a thrilling mix of red-hot takes, weird yet always hilarious chat and fascinating thought experiments. There's nothing like it and you should download today. It's really highly produced and you can hear how much work goes into each one. The use of sound feels really fresh and innovative too.

Love it!

I'm a bit thick but this explains leftist politics in a way that's easy for me to understand. I'm laughin' and learnin'!

It’s good m8

Interesting and funny left wing analysis but still humane and not quite yet “irony poisoned”.

Modern, funny, genuine and daft audio

Full of social/political/philosophical ideas, but not trapped in current affairs. Very relatable content if you are a human being in the 21st century concerned about potential collapse of society, but like to have a chuckle too.

What a great pod!

Just listened to the first episode and it has the best tl;dr of Das Kapital I’ve ever come across

Hooked and honking.

Was initially worried that it may be way over my head in terms of prerequisite knowledge of politics and philosophy, etc, that’d be required for me to understand and engage properly, but I’ve been left so so pleasantly surprised! Everything is explained so bloody well, in not only layman’s terms but in a bloody interesting way too. It’s got me thinking about lots and it’s made topics that I’ve previously thought as inaccessible (to a Joe Bloggs like me) actually accessible.
Such a lovely treat for the old ears this podcast!

Enjoyably hopeful, and certainly enjoyable

We should improve society somewhat, but it's not gwan be done by degrees. This is a very enjoyable look at what capitalism is and isn't, and what that means in our lives. I like the bit about honking.
