This podcast has so much potential but Lee Dixon turns every podcast into a miserable rant about how the “old days with George Graham was better”. Absolutely insufferable ranting about the past and how his era was better and the players were much tougher bla bla bla. The Athletic is supposed to bring a premium product not the recycled garbage the pundits spew out every week. James is a knowledgable guy that adds some much needed humour I like him. Amy is also great. Lee Dixon is holding this podcast back replace him with someone that doesn’t constantly moan and can add some valuable insight. The Lee Dixon replacement doesn’t have to be a former player it can be anyone that is knowledgeable, maybe someone with some good tactical insight into Arteta’s style of play or someone with great knowledge of the academy. Or even someone that can give us unique nuggets about arsenal that we haven’t already heard about 40 times already unlike those boring Lee Dixon stories. I know Lee Dixon is an arsenal legend but if all you can add is “My era was better” than you aren’t adding anything of value to the podcast. Unfortunately until Lee Dixon is replaced I won’t be listening to the podcast anymore.

I gave it a chance but have stopped listening because the man is infuriating. Arsenal fans need to enjoy the few good moments we’ve had this season, this man will rob you of all the highlights!! There’s no need for this negativity!

What a great podcast. With all the Gooner pods available, this one regularly provides some excellent alternate chat with great guests and a regular pop-in from a true Arsenal legend.

The comparing and harking back to the George Graham era / famous back 5 every week is so mind numbingly dull and repetitive. I thought it would just be for a one off episode but it seems every single one is centred around solely this... it’s really not that interesting. We get it you were all great defenders in a cohesive unit and all hard as nails. Why is every episode about this?

Amy and James are great but the Lee Dixon segments have turned me off it.

I love lee Dixon obviously, Amy is great and James adds insight and wit, the guy that constantly cuts Amy and janes off whomever he is is boring and I assume is there to laugh at his own awful jokes? It’s not personal obviously I just find him infuriating when Amy is dropping knowledge he has to say something

Really like this podcast. I am a big fan of Amy Lawrence and the players like Lee Dixon offer real insight. Less enthralled by Ian Stone but he tries. Looking forward to the weekly podcasts

James and Amy are the stars of this podcast. Not sure I’ll keep listening if Lee Dixon keeps being so dreary though.
