Description

THE BUNKER is fearless, free-range political talk from the team behind REMAINIACS, the hit independent Brexit podcast.

Every week Ian Dunt, Naomi Smith, Dorian Lynskey and Alex Andreou plus special guests examine the big issues with expertise, humour and fierce independence. We cut through the claptrap, help you make sense of what’s really going on – and give you the fighting spirit to keep on keeping on. Think of it as Remainiacs, just without quite so much Brexit.

That’s THE BUNKER, out every Wednesday morning… or earlier, if you’re lucky.

Keeps me optimistic ...

Another great podcast by the Remaninacs team - great guests too and Iain colours it in the usual way! Hope your building a future platform like NPR - with political journalists including those No 10 is trying to exclude. Just an idea - a fan!

Politics done differently

Having made us think and laugh through the B-word nightmare, Andrew Harrison & chums provide the political analysis I now realise I always wanted. Two shows in and it’s indispensable listening.

Essential listening

early days but for me it’s like Remainiacs, The New Statesman and Reasons To Be Cheerful had a baby and called it The Bunker Podcast

Great stuff

Terrific podcast. Have listened to both so far and all guests excellent. Absolutely nailed it on Boomers and I is a Boomer myself!!

Great podcast, but...

I love listening to Remainiacs, so it was great to get the same format and commentators speaking about a wider political landscape.
I would live for my children to listen to this and Remainiacs, but the one problem is Ian Dunt’s prolific swearing. It is constant and I don’t really want to expose my children to that

Great stuff

Anything from the Remainiacs team is welcome right now. Personally, I like the swearing.

The main team are back in town!

Cracking first episode and wide ranging political discussion of where we are today in the world. Love these guys.

Potty mouthed presenter

Why so much unnecessary swearing? Expand your vocabulary.

Brilliant like Remainiacs but broader

Great 1st episode guest Amy Pope (please get more bright Americans on) with genuinely new stuff on impeachment and trump. Hilarious listening to the cast try to avoid ‘the b word’.

Love it.

Why the swearing?

Turned off after 5 minutes. I have no issues with appropriate swearing, but when littered in such an unnecessary and without context manner, I question the editorial decision to proceed down this line. Disappointing.

Long wanted. About time.

Likely to be excellent. Episode 1 was. Remainiacs was really good at getting right into the thicket of the real issues, plus funny, plus realism, plus Ian Dunt’s wonderful filthy laugh & swearing, which for some odd reason gives me a bit of faith in Britishness back.
But often I couldn’t bring myself to listen to Remainiacs bec I needed the distance.
So now, ya-da!, proper analysis of OTHER important political stuff. Just what I wanted.
Happy.

Five “blind” stars

Gave 5 stars on trust even before listening to any episode. Trust the gang will produce an excellent job as done with Remaniacs. There is so much f**k going on that feels good to have bunker where to readjust perspectives.

Really good listen

Less swearing would be nice.

Enjoyable ...

Am not prudey and don’t mind swearing in context / when funny, but Ian Dunt’s ‘effing every other sentence just seems jarring and affected. Other than that - good fun, interesting topics, funny and insightful,

Great start.

Promising start start from the Remainiacs team. Taking a wider look at current affairs, Ros, Andrew and Ian offered their thoughtful takes and humour as they scour the dire political landscape.

More greatness from the makers of Remainiacs

Well, Nicholas Parsons is no more, my country is toast and the weather's only getting stranger. On the other hand, here's a *second* weekly dose of the cast of Remainiacs kvetching for Britain while offering the most insightful political commentary going, only this time without all the Brexit. So that's a bit good.
