A Christmas Carol *Christmas Special*

Charles Dickens
Time: 31:53
It's our Christmas Special!
Today Abby and Jess try to bring some festive cheer by discussing Charles Dickens' Christmas classic. Naturally, going via a discussion of 'why ghosts', poor politics, Mariah Carey, and which ghost are you?
We'd also like to take the opportunity to suggest some donations that are close to our hearts. If you are able to we'd love for you to make a one-off, or recurring, donation to any of these charities in our name if you've enjoyed the podcast this year.

Apple Podcasts: Customer Reviews

Well thought out & entertaining

Despite having not read some of the short stories or novels reviewed in the podcast, Jess and Abby make complex literature feel accessible and interesting. Through discussions such as one comparing the protagonist of a pretty gruesome short story by Edgar Allan Poe to Bear Grylls, this podcast provides a light-hearted take on some rather heavy reading. Jess and Abby are witty and bounce off each other so well, it is always a pleasure to tune in!

A fun, refreshing and informative podcast, the perfect way to zone out and learn more about books and literature (from people who know much more than me!).
