I have been listening for the past year and love this podcast. Never a dull interview Andrew invites really interesting, smart, engaging guests who break down the most complex issues to keep me hooked throughout.

Through lockdown and beyond this has been an amazing to connect with the wider world. Andrew’s non judgemental approach ensures a great flow to the conversation. Have recommended to friends and family alike.

Andrew is a true natural. His interview style is compelling, and down to earth all at the same time. He’s a great example of what a good interviewer should be. Someone give him a Netflix Show!

I’m sorry but are EVER gonna ask him WHY this cool criminal who facilitated and brushed shoulders with Cartels and the Mafia went from almost 100yrs to only 6 urs in prison???

Whish your interviews were a little more structured so we didn’t have to listen to several mins of his first time taking ecstasy compendium!

Have listened to pretty much every single episode whilst painting my entire house from with two coats from top to bottom before selling it. Andrew and his guests have thoroughly entertained me throughout this painting drudgery - categorically could not have done it without you, thankyou so much Andrew! Will continue to recommend you to my friends and family at any given opportunity.

I discovered Andrew Gold’s podcast during the winter lockdown and it quite literally kept me going! Each podcast feels so beautifully ‘un-produced’ - despite the fact it’s quite the opposite. But the result is it feels unpretentious, refreshing and real. Andrew’s intrigue into each guest’s story is genuine and he asks the questions you’d be asking in your head, unsure if you should ask out-loud, …without putting a foot in it. He’s a raw talent in a sometimes overcrowded space. If you’re only just finding this… lucky you.

I am not sure how I came across Andrew Gold’s podcast, but so glad I did as they are great! The interviewees are always interesting and Andrew has a great way of talking to people, long may they continue!!!

I am an avid podcast listener having been converted during lockdown - these are intelligently presented by Andrew Gold and such fascinating topics. Just finished the episode about the famous plane crash in the Andes while I walked to and from work. I cried on the way and I cried on the way home! But I felt so humbled by hearing this from the person involved rather than watching a dramatised version - so real and so grounding. Thank you for choosing your subjects Andrew!

Andrew certainly manages to extract a great interview. The topics are wide ranging and interesting. The interviews are engaging and entertaining, whilst Andrew is generous, gentle and kind to his interviewees, which ultimately makes it easy to listen and engage.

Andrew Gold is as good at being a podcast interviewer as I am at being a furniture finisher. That might sound like me being big headed but but I’m not- I’ve been finishing bespoke furniture since Andrew was 6

It’s a fascinating journey into the folds and behind the couch to see who’s lurking there … just an all out enjoyable and skilfully delivered form. Please keep up the good work and I will most definitely be contributing via patreon soon once my next big job comes in :)

This podcast has been strong from the first episode. The latest episode was in an audio doc format and whilst a detour from the usual format I for one would be happy to hear more.

Brilliant podcast, amazing topics, I have followed some recommendations for books and other podcasts and thoroughly enjoyed them too. There are a couple of episodes that I wasn’t too keen on, so didn’t finish those, but the rest are very interesting . Andrew Gold is down to Earth and has a great soothing voice. Really excited when I see a new episode come out!

Insightful and honest stories that usually aren’t from the mainstream press. Andrew levels with his guests in a way that makes them comfortable to talk about uncomfortable things. The production less polished at times but it’s endearing that Andrew is open and wanting to try new things and engage with feedback from his listeners.

I’ve listen to so many as I started from the beginning and am working my way backwards.

I love the guests and they are all so different.

Not sure what I’m going to do when they end 😢

This is such a great podcast series with fascinating interviewees. There’s such a diverse range of people and Andrew has wonderful skill in asking the right questions, pushing when appropriate and giving people plenty of time to talk. Perfect length too. Highly recommend.

I happened to stumble onto this podcast and have been hooked ever since. It’s led to me to start following interesting guests on social media to keep up with their content, downloading their podcasts, ( Bed of lies is excellent) purchasing their books and recommending them to friends and to really question my own thoughts, judgements and beliefs. I had no idea what an Incel was, I had never considered the effect of woke culture, I’m currently reading “confessions of a sociopath” and ME Thomas makes some mind blowing arguments some of which I agree with.

I just finished the Dr Death episode and I was gripped throughout. The subject matter and range of guests are fantastic and long may it continue.

Andrew I like your voice and interview style and I have recommended the podcast to everyone.

I’ve listened to all the episodes now and while I like Andrew in all the episodes I just find some of the guests quite boring. This week was the first time I have got half way through and just switched off 🤷‍♂️

I have been hooked ever since discovering this podcast.

It never disappoints, with an eclectic mix of thought provoking subjects often untouched by others and never boring.

I find myself wishing they were slightly longer, if only to sate my appetite for good discussion.

Andrew has a great interview style for this type of show, completely unselfish, not too overbearing, or making it about himself. Rather he acts as a conduit for the person being interviewed to get their story out there and gives just enough to inform the curious mind to want to go and discover more on what is discussed.

Highly recommend.

Andrew Gold not only speaks 5 languages (🤭), he also finds some of the most interesting people I’ve ever listened to. Along with this, Andrew lets the guests speak. There’s no overtaking the convo with the ‘me me me’ style of podcasting that exists in even the most factual of pods. Andrew asks questions and offers POV to guide the convo but ultimately it’s the speaker we hear from. Really enjoy every episode and my kitchen is always really clean afterwards, which is testament to the quality of it (I hate cleaning). Lots of love, me. Xx

I listen to a lot of podcasts while doing my daily walk to the park with my little one, but it’s the first time that I write a review because it is soooo good. I don’t know how he picks and find these fascinating people but I’ve loved every single one of them and I love his interview style, which is very inquisitive although very respectful at the same time. I went through all the episodes and now I can’t wait for my walk on Mondays... Great voice, great diction and great pace which helps as I listen to podcasts at twice the speed, you should try it 😁

I’m loving these podcasts and keep pushing my friends to listen so that we can discuss them. Wonderful variety of thought provoking guests.

Re length: I’d like them a bit longer if anything, and perhaps a little more challenge from you on some points.

I really do look forward to this podcast, Andrew’s interviewing technique comes across as genuine, his interest in his guests topics creates a fascinating intrigue in the listener and it’s absolutely binge worthy.

I’ve recently found this podcast and it’s my new go to ! With such a variety of of subjects and guests there’s always something to listen to (until I’ve binged them all of course) Andrews interviewing technique is so calm and inviting it just seems to enable the conversation to flow even when the subject is serious and gritty !

This podcast cover everything one week it’s serious and dark, the next it’s funny and uplifting! It’s always fascinating and entertaining !

It’s definitely worth a subscribe !

Andrew is a genuinely objective interviewer who manages to draw out his guests’ thoughts and opinions in a professional and skilled manner. Basically, this is dead good stuff.

I’ve just discovered this podcast and am now busy bingeing my way through all the episodes. I love it! Interesting subjects - not the run of the mill - for anyone who’s interested in human behaviour, or just in other people’s lives. I really like Andrew’s style too. It’s informal yet incisive, as if two people were just having a really fascinating chat in your living room. Episodes are a good length at around an hour which means there’s time to cover lots of interesting stuff at a nice easy pace without rushing. Give it a listen!

I love anything that deals with human behaviour and find especially fascinating people who are different in some way to the mainstream. I’m always eager to listen to the next episode. Keep ‘em coming Andrew, you’re podcast is outstanding!

I discovered Andrews podcast in its infancy and have loved tuning in every week. It has brightened up the tedium of endless lockdowns. Andrew’s guests are consistency fascinating, and his informal, empathetic and accessible style make you feel like you are listening to a friend.

Fascinating content and a great variety of guests- Andrew is genuinely helping me through winter days in my freezing cold workshop. I like his open & attentive approach to the diverse mix of interviewees & the subjects they explore......but he still manages to ask the tricky & often more interesting questions when it comes down to it.

The science episodes are great but sometimes those boffins are so clever they’re hard to comprehend (says more about my limitations than theirs though really). More of the edgy & out there stuff though please- those conversations are fun!

I’m big into podcasts and stumbled across this one recently by chance. It’s now firmly in my regular listens. It has an excellent combination of fascinating guests coupled together with Andrew’s thoughtful interviewing style that really seems to bring out the interesting issues well. Looking forward to many more episodes in the future!

Such a great podcast. As a child therapist I am naturally fascinated by humans and everyone unique experiences. This podcast allows a snippet into the lives of those with such diverse, intriguing experiences.

Andrew is such a lovely interviewer, his vulnerability and empathy helps him really connect with the speaker and gleam

more insight into their lives.

Fascinating topics. The presenter has a really good style. He strikes the exact right balance between listening to his guest, and letting them talk with engaging and challenging them. Refreshing in a sea of celeb podcasts where they’re punching above their intellectual weight or talk about themselves far too much.
