Peter Cunnah: The homecoming move

Peter Cunnah: The homecoming move

Time: 42:28
SERIES FINALE! Back in 1994, this week's guest was riding high at the top of the charts with the anthemic tune, Things Can Only Get Better. Peter Cunnah spent his pop star years living in London but the Derry-born star was eventually drawn back to the North West of Ireland last year. In our final episode of this series, he chats about childhood memories, how nature has been inspiring his new music and how he really felt about Labour hijacking his hit record. We also answer Amy's question about the difficulties of remote working - something that many of us are currently coming to terms with.

COVID made you reconsider city life? Listen to this!

Loved the Maggie Molloy of Cheap Irish Homes episode. She’s done something so many of us think about but never pluck up the courage to do and she got herself a new career out of making the move. Bonus!

Great podcast

This is a great podcast about a subject that’s suddenly come roaring to the fore for so many people. Is there life outside a bit city, and what’s it like? Many are starting to wonder…

Great listen!

This is a really good podcast. Even though I only go outside the M25 for holidays, it's so interesting to hear these stories and the presenters ask all the right questions!

An interesting an easy listen.

Exciting to see an old school friend has her own podcast now! I’ve never lived the city life , so this was a really interesting listen. Love the informal style, and am looking forward to future episodes.

Inspiring

I loved this podcast and can’t wait to listen to more episodes. The first guest had such a great, interesting, inspiring story on why they left London which I’m sure will be relatable for lots of women. Highly recommend.

Great new podcast!

Great to listen to a podcast about a very timely topic because moving out of London is all that my friends and I are talking about at the moment! Love the relaxed tone of the two presenters and looking forward to seeing which other guests they have on

First episode got me hooked - so relatable!

Great concept (almost everyone I know has either gone from a big city back to a small setting, or vice versa) and it’s also delivered by such lovely girls who are witty, warm and so relatable. Their first guest was such a great storyteller and I could have listened to her all day. It’s a great lockdown antidote...felt like a reviving cuppa and cake with old friends having a wonderful catch up. Can’t wait for the next one!!
