Good general coverage but the show is a bit like having someone tell jokes too themselves and they find themselves hilarious. it gets pretty annoying and there are other shows doing overviews.

Just awesome

The 1-2 deep dives each week are my go to on any story. Two super talented journo’s. Thank you both

I’ve been looking for an accessible and genuinely interesting tech podcast and gave this a go after i heard kevin roose as a guest on the daily. They’ve been gifted two huge stories with Twitter and ftx but love it so far. Compelling storylines and very funny.

Entertaining and informative, in equal parts

Thanks Kevin & Casey. I love the way your programme blends genuinely interesting fact with good humoured banter. The “chess playing polyamorous nerds at FTX” had me laughing all the way around my weekly shop.

Super interesting

Corporate bootlicking

I felt compelled to go out of my way to write my only review of a podcast ever, simply off the basis of the first episode's feature of Kashmir Hill's story on the Metaverse, which reeks of paid marketing, I find it hard to believe that a New York Times podcast would feature a sly advertisement masquerading as a story, and I'll give them the benefit of doubt, but seriously, it doesn't get more corporate boot licking than this. And anyone born after 1989 will find its depiction of technology and digital social norms hilarious, who knew that people like to play and be online longer than 2 hours? Isn't it so crazy that the metaverse is so addictive that people plug in their headsets so they can play past 2 hours!? These so called 'Plug and Players'! Wow, the metaverse sure does sound groovy!

Why is it not 'ok' to date people at work? When did this rule come in? Do we live in some feminist-puritan state now? Chilling.

Kara is an amazingly genuine interviewer who asks guests the questions we all really want the answers to - she is tough but fair and always brings out the unexpected in her guests.

This is has become my go to podcast for all things concerned with the impact of technology on our lives. Kara’s no-nonsense approach to running interviews should be taken as a blueprint to serious journalism. Well done!

J. Goodal is an amazing person. I listen and read as much of her material as I can however very poor interview. I got the impression that this interviewer was more interested in having her on the show for who jane was and to get ‘the tick’ for having her on the show rather that to listen to what she had to say.

Kara can access the people other journalists can’t reach and yet manages to get answers to the questions we all want to ask without upsetting anyone. I look forward to more of the same.
