Description

The shocking, riveting inside story of one of the biggest cover-ups in US military history. You thought you knew about the Iraq War? Everything you knew is about to change. Forever.
Written and narrated by filmmaker Michael Epstein, Murder in House Two is about what really happened in the Haditha Massacre of November 2005, when 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians – including women and young children – were shot multiple times by a group of US Marines. But it’s about much more, too: about one man’s fight for justice, about how the US government tried to prevent the truth ever getting out, about paranoia and persistence and an unshakeable belief in what is wrong and what is right.

I never write reviews, but I cannot not write one for this. On the last episode with goose bumps and a lump in my throat. Most worthy podcast-binge ever! A Saturday well-spent!

OMG how shocking that this happened, shocking but very believable. Cover up of the century, that we know about. The forensics involved in piecing the crime scene together blew me away. Well researched and well put together. Brilliant

Wow - i cannot believe what happened

This has got to be one of the worst cover ups by the military ever documented - i have listened to most of this with my hand over my mouth as i am so astonished that such a horrifying thing could happen and the perpetrators have not been caught

After listening to the first episode, I had to binge through the rest. A fantastic true account of solders operating under extremely stressful conditions and the cover up when killing becomes routine; so routine that it becomes normal to lob a grenade into a room without any regard of who is inside. The following stitch-up court case gives justice to nobody.

Just listened to latest episode and having a hard time believing they spent so much time and money cajoling this guy out of his ‘amnesia’. Hoping there will be some redeeming feature about him to come...
Excellent reporting though. Nail bitingly tense.

Utterly saddening

I just sat listening to the latest episode today and sobbed. This is hard to listen to, but I’m sticking with it in the hope that something good came of such an atrocity, or something good will.
