Description

A true story involving two brides and one turd. What do you do if someone defecates on the floor at your wedding? Re-evaluate your friends and family? No, you launch an investigation to find who did it. Join the brides, Helen Mclaughlin and Karen Whitehouse, and the extremely under-qualified “Detective” Lauren Kilby, as they interrogate wedding guests, hook bridesmaids up to polygraph machines and speak with top forensic experts in an attempt to crack the case. Because crime is not a laughing matter. Well, maybe except for this one.

This should have been 6 episodes at most but it is just so dragged out so much I no longer gave a crap (pun intended). They could have done without the annoying friend playing the detective altogether - it was funny for a few minutes but quickly became very irritating. The whole thing reminded me of reading a self published book with no editor. I get that podcasts are self published and you can include whatever you want but that doesn’t mean you should include absolutely every single piece of audio recorded which is what this feels like.

P.a. The pant-hammock theory is the most plausible one yet for me! 🤣

Hilarious. Nothing scripted could be as funny as the genuine, natural humour and bond that exists between these real friends.

Very funny podcast. And so professionally researched. It’s clear that everyone’s at the top of their game. Particularly impressed with the use of the Police Edition Polygraph test.
