Was listening and it was a good podcast but your guest was too Labour centric and there is at times I feel a lack of balance and a lack of what feels like willingness to really question things. So no one raises the lack of polling by companies like survation in Wales or the issues around delivery for certain ministers who got reappointed.

The podcast would be improved if there was some forensic analysis of things a bit more, is X really suited on delivering on Y major project etc. In what ways could party Y begin to improve upon their 2021 result. Winning constitutes is great but how do they do that. Are there particularly issues they could target.

It provides some good insights in to the politics of Wales.

But can anyone understand the electoral system for the Sennedd .

I started listening to this podcast as the 2021 Senedd campaign got underway. Speaking not as a Welshman, but as an English Briton, living in England, it strikes me as the best political podcast currently available. It is informative, impartial, and incisive, not to mention enjoyable. I shall be interested to see if it can maintain such a high standard once the election is over and so can no longer act as a focal point for the presenters. I hope so, but for the moment I struggle to see how it could be improved.

I hope Walescast is a permanent podcast and not just for the upcoming Senedd election. Enjoyable and informative listen. Never too long and boring like some other political podcasts can be.
