15mins of information in 33mins. Interesting podcast but suffering from bloat.

Fascinating topic, very well researched. So refreshing not to have moralistic/lecturing undertones so prevalent in podcasts and radio shows today, just clean to the point presenting. Thank you!

I loved 13 minutes to the moon and The search for the missing crypto queen…. This is in a similar unrushed but gripping style, approaching the story from many directions. Brilliant!

I started tuning into this when I was off ill and I am so hooked! I know nothing about hacking or cybercrime but I do now and it’s the stuff of Hollywood spy movies! Cybercrime is more of a threat to the western world than we realise. This is journalism at its very best.

So well put together, you can really sense the amount of work that’s gone into this. The story is just absolutely bonkers too and it’s far from over by the sounds of it!

Great podcast series although would be better if they dropped the annoyingly loud and unnecessary screeching filler tune that gets played at the beginning and end of each episode

Not usually a fan of BBC documentaries but this was well written, well researched and well read. An interest in the subject matter helps but you’d enjoy it even with just a passing interest in economics, history, current affairs or Heist movies!

A podcast is perfect for this exploration of the hacks covered. Asks some important questions and helps to explore some of the answers. Combined with the BBC‘s high production values, it’s an excellent listen. Plus you only get an advert for another BBC podcast in the middle, much less obtrusive than many other podcasts.

I’m normally only into podcasts for murder but this one is addictive and incredibly well done!

Both presenters are excellent, so well communicated with the right level of intrigue and excitement without unnecessary ‘hype’, really does justice to a multi-faceted, complex story so every episode is rich with detail. Well done everyone and can’t wait for the next ones.

At times the plot is so fantastical I have to remind myself this is not fiction!

Listened to Death in Ice Valley so had this auto uploaded and love it. Evidently I was vacuous in 2014 as I remember the Sony leak but not the link to the film. So far, fabulous.

Such a good podcast. It’s great to have a series like this, attention to detail, layers of the story building up. Production is second to none!

Negative reviews are from those who have lost any sort of attention span from an instant culture.

it’s a good and well researched podcast but the theme tune just ruins it entirely. why is it so loud compared to the volume level of everyone else? it’s so jarring that it really just ruins the listening experience completely.

This is a podcast that could easily have been made in two episodes, and it would have been better.

But no, BBC World Service streeeetttccchhh iiiiiitttttt ooooouuuuttttt for 8 eps and flog it to death.

Stop it now. Focus. Less is more.

I am enjoying this. Well paced and very interesting. Though I am not sure if stealing even $1 billion would finance a missile program. Can’t wait to hear how this all pans out.

If you like espionage and spy’s podcast, this is for you. I can’t wait for each episode.

Remember the story from when it happened. Hearing more of the background is excellent and most enjoyable. Biggest annoyance is having to wait each week but ensure that I will keep coming back for more.

There’s something fascinating and very compelling about the reality of North Korea. The way this podcast frames NK’s activities through the lens of criminality and links it to the underworld in other countries is genuinely eye opening.

Excellent, well researched content in a podcast with great production. Intriguing subject, well worth a listen.

Have to say it was heart warming in episode one when one journalist admitted that they at least paused for thought before publishing information about peoples private lives obtained a “massive criminal enterprise”. Published it anyway but at least this noble profession considered not personally benefitting from criminality before doing so anyway.

Hard to find a podcast that immediately clicks and grabs your attention, this one with such an exciting storyline definitely does the job.
