Thank you for so many incredible stories! The last interview I listened to was David Marfleet and his wise words - the busier life gets the more time we need to spend in Gods words - when it’s more likely to spend less we need to be intentional about making time for God.

The stories have each been so uplifting and inspiring in their unique way. Our whole family has been captivated as we have listened while driving to and from school, we have been inspired, challenged, deeply convicted, grieved, amazed and encouraged to persevere in our faith and our calling.

I have never written a review but I have to for this one. Recommended by a friend and boy am I glad! Everyone has encouraged me, lifted me up and inspired me! This is my most favourite podcast show. Every single episode is life giving; full of challenging inspiration; and each one speaks of Jesus’s living power and life changing presence.

Uplifting stories

Fabulous Sam humbly expressing what being gay has been like to date. A horrible journey but he stood firm with God. It’s our own ignorance which makes those of us who don’t understand what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes. To listen and make every attempt to understand is, surely, part of what being Christian, is about? Just as it is not our place to judge those who are not the “same” as us.

I love the challenges these podcasts throw out. One of the few to engage my teenager, we regularly debate the topics raised.

Make this podcast a habit- in the car, when you’re walking or even doing the dishes. You’ll be glad you did.

In the current age it is so important to have a discipline to dwell on the good, the positive and the hope of kingdom living and not just fill our minds with only the material state of the our culture and planet - important as they are. This podcast has been a real encouragement to me as I expect it will be to all who listen.

I love Simon’s podcasts. The show does exactly what it says on the tin. Inspires & stirs faith. It is such an encouragement to hear the different interviews. The kingdom of God in action - I love it!

Nicolas interview has encouraged and raised my faith today. Simon brings out not just the interviewees current story but what’s led them to where they are today. Really feel like you get to to ‘know’ the person. Brilliant

These inspirational stories are so important for such a time as this.

Nicola Neal’s story for me is an example of what happens when we listen trust and follow Jesus’ leading. Hers is a beautiful story which is both extraordinary yet in its simplicity demonstrates that each of us in our God given “territory” can see transformation and he transformed as we love listen to and learn from those around us.

As such these stories are invitational to us all to understand we are all empowered to be catalysts of change, maybe not in Africa but wherever and to whom ever we are sent. All the amazing people of God I know basically have one thing in common - they laid down their lives and trusted Jesus. My prayer is that we would all realise that “Gold” inside and say “yes”

The best place to be when these two giants are in convo is in the same room. Failing that, listening on demand with a favourite brew, whilst on commute - or (my personal preference) whilst doing the washing up, is the next best thing. Inspirational and challenging in equal measure and well worth a listen! P.S. - other episodes also worth checking out too!

I look forward to these podcast interviews so much. They lift my heart and my faith. They keep me company during mundane tasks like dishes or laundry folding. Sometimes I’m smiling from ear to ear, other times tears are shed. Each person’s passion for the Gospel or their sincerity and honesty about their hardships touches me greatly. Simon is a great interviewer and asks the kinds of questions his listeners would ask. He doesn’t interrupt and allows each guest the freedom to flow with their answers and reflections.

Exhausted and 'hungry' (for Him) after being ill, needed something to feed my spirit - this gave me the lift I needed to get up and go after His heart again. Amazing stories. Amazing men and women of God.

I’ve just listened to the podcast where Simon interviews Jeremy Marshall.It was great to listen to Jeremy’s honest account of life with cancer and, wonderfully, the opportunities it has given him to share the gospel. I will definitely listen to other of Simon’s podcasts in this series and recommend them to others who want to be uplifted and inspired.

If you want a panoramic view of how God is changing lives across the planet and drawing people into wild commitment to Christ then this is the podcast for you. It is fiercely passionate but totally grounded and never avoids the messiness of life. Jaw dropping, spine tingling and occassionally heart wrenching., A tremendous resource.

Simon is a hero of the faith but these podcasts are not about him, they are about hearing from influential voices of leaders, those who carry influence and who have walked the journey of faith with the battle scars to prove it. Simon has the gift of being able to pull out those gold nuggets that inspire and challenge.

This podcast has really lifted my spirits over the last few weeks. I caught Simon on J. John’s programme and was so engrossed I knew this podcast would be for me. On the drive to and from work in the cold and dark, every speaker Simon has interviewed has been an inspiration. It’s great to lift my eyes from what is directly around me and hear of the many God inspired individuals who are out in the big bad world making a difference to our eternity. A podcast episode that needed to be shared! A great testimony on how humans are incredibly complex and how we do not need to be ashamed of how far we’ve come or where we are with Jesus. So beautiful to know that with Jesus somethings are ‘normal’. “Inspired” is a great podcast, looking forward to hearing more stories as we walk our journey home. 💛

Living in Burundi it’s so good to have these podcasts to listen to as I drive up and down the mountain to the city each week. I’m always inspired and yet at the same time really challenged to be more obedient and more faithful to the call of God on my/our lives! Thanks Simon and keep them coming!!
