A great trip down memory lane courtesy of many of the actors who became the most famous kids (and adults) in Britain for a while. Neil is always a kind soul who puts the interviewer completely at ease and allows them the space to reminisce and relax. Long may it prosper.

Great guests…shame the host annoyingly spends 80% of the time talking at them about his own detailed knowledge of the show, rather than asking more insightful questions and allowing them to talk.

Neil is a great interviewer with a true love and deep knowledge of Grange Hill, and here he brings us a series of wonderful interviews with the stars of the show. It’s great to hear how they are doing now, and it brings back so many great memories to hear them reminisce about their time on the show. The stories are really interesting and it’s always a great listen. Top of the class, sir!

What makes it so great is that the interviewees truly want to take part so are both interesting and interested. Neil is an engaging interviewer who obviously puts the subjects at ease. Great to hear the stories from the time and what happened to everyone since. Love it.

Takes you back so many memories and so many stories that just come flooding back.

I love this, makes me smile remembering my childhood heroes.

Most have grown up to seem like really nice people which is lovely (even if a couple of the later cast need to be brought down a peg or two!)

My one suggestion would be can we have the character names of the people mentioned in the show notes? So often the actors say who they liked working with and use their real names. Be handy to be able to quickly scroll to see who they are referring too - 40 odd years later I can’t remember 2 sets of names!

I grew up through the golden days of Grange Hill and this just brought back so many memories. Only listened to two episodes so far and am absolutely hooked.

Absolutely wonderful. I grew up with this from the start so the oldies are my favourites and my familiar friends but am finding all of the interviews of interest.

Highly enjoyable nostalgia fuelled podcast about the hay day of children’s TV drama. Grange Hill was a must for me from the early 80s to the early 90s. A real treat for fans. It makes you feel old though!! Keep up the good work!

Really enjoying hearing from members of the old Grange Hill cast. Would like to hear from Pogo Patterson, and just hope he doesn’t use the excuse that it’s the time of the month like he did in the show to avoid appearing!

After recently watching my era of Grange Hill on Britbox I was delighted to stumble upon this podcast.

Jonah was my favourite character on the show also so great to hear him reminisce and chat about what he’s been up to since.

Also good to hear Ricky’s chat. Seems like a funny fellow and also had some great on set stories.

Excellent opening episode of the first ever (I think) Grange Hill podcast.

Ricky is charming interviewee and obviously has great affection for the show, revealing lots of things I didn't know. The interview is a decent length and the host Neil steers the conversation along nicely.
