The Anniversary Sachin Special with Vijay Arumugam

Time: 1:32:45
Welcome to another episode of The Cricket Slouch and this is the one-year anniversary episode. As we began the podcast on Sachin’s birthday with an episode dedicated to his Desert Storm innings , we will celebrate the anniversary with something related to the great player.
And to lend credibility to this episode, I have a very special guest appearance, a cricket and Sachin fan known to quite a few people across the cricketverse and its various message boards, the one and Only Vijay Arumugam.
Vijay can be found expressing his views on Twitter @vijayarumugam
Podcast art credit to Noman and Umangi, as usual.

Description

A fun cricket podcast by a group of friends, who worship at the altar of the 22-yard strip bookended by 3 sticks. We love to talk cricket, have a laugh, include new people, express some polarising opinions (perhaps) and hope to help spread the word of the sport to far reaching corners. We try to keep it as kosher as we can, but there may be a few expletives every now and then. Huge thanks to Noman W and Umangi H for the brilliant podcast cover art. Tune composed using Garage Band and limited imagination.

Great Podcast

This is my favourite discussion about Indian Cricket in any cricket podcast. It was a very interesting conversation with insightful views.

Good one

Stumbled upon this podcast accidentally. Great discussion about Tendulkar and Indian cricket from the 80s and 90s. Looking forward to more.

Very Interesting and Informative, still room to improve

Content was really insightful and felt authentic, homegrown and in-depth. The analysis was really in depth and feels like you know your stuff. The ‘where were you when this happened’ section was really nice and my personal favourite part of the podcast. Old school feel and enjoyable.
Audio quality could still use some improvement although as with most podcasts, this develops with time. The podcast (I believe) could use a bit more planning and research although you clearly know your stuff so it does not impact the listening to much. It could benefit from more segmented discussion with clear focus area. And a reminder that of course all of what has been said is 100% subjective and some may prefer the flowing format that you have now as it feels very natural and if this is the style that you are going for then I believe it was pulled off well.
Overall a nice new edition to the podcasting Sphere and I hope to hear more episodes in the future.
