The one with the muppets and the Pixar shorts

I really enjoyed the informality of the chat between 2 snuffling friends and the reference to our sellophaned copy staying under the tv for the whole of Ellis’s childhood despite me ( I’m his mum btw)repeatedly asking if he’d like to watch it. I have great memories of watching the muppet show as a kid and wanted to watch the Christmas movie but felt that I couldn’t because it seemed sad watching it on my own. Anyway it was great and a chance to hear my sons voice if we haven’t spoken for a while, sad but true.
I listened to the Pixar shorts podcast and watched along to the ones I could find on the internet as I don’t have Disney plus. I got about 8/10 of them. It was nostalgic watching the ones I would’ve shared viewing with Ellis as a small boy, especially mikes car! I enjoyed the one with the rocket with the boy and his grandma, the grandma reminded me of my mum ( Ellis’s grandma)and it was very emotional, who’d believe you’d get a roller coaster of feeling from some cartoons, very touching and thoughtful, thanks Ellis for bringing them to me.
Let me know when you’re ready to go public, it would be to people who know and love you after all. You did say share it at the end of one I listened to . Love you Ellis xxx
