We absolutely love this podcast (favourite podcast)

I used to listen to this all the time but then it just got less interesting and the gaps in between the podcast coming out I found other podcast come out every 2 days

I have been listening to too many political podcasts and losing my mind. I have been re listening to this podcast during the past few days and it’s given my brain such a rest from all of the doom and horror going on now. The characters and dialogue are so good, bringing to new life Doyle’s fantastic stories. Thank you for this gem.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but had to say something when I saw two comments complaining about it being ‘woke’ 🤣

This is an excellent show, with exceptional acting that has been carefully written to bring Sherlock up to date. It’s as good as any Radio 4 afternoon play (unusual for some podcasts out there).

It’s laugh out loud funny in parts, and I am someone who appreciates that they are inclusive. (And yes, Zwarte Piet is seen as offensive by a lot of people and thankfully a lot of parades have adjusted from blackface to a soot smudge).

That said, if a Trump insurrection ad triggers you, but blackface doesn’t, I guess that says a lot more about you than the show…

Addictive listening, great stories, enjoyable characters and an Earworm theme tune. Everything I enjoy all wrapped up in this show 💜

I’ve only just discovered this brilliant podcast and am totally addicted. I love all things Sherlock and this is one of the best. Clever, funny and compelling. A fabulous and very inventive modern interpretation of the original stories. The writing is excellent and the cast are fab, especially as the chemistry grows with each episode. A must listen

Love this show. Got so many friends listening too. The humour and sarcasm cracks me up. Literally listen when I’m cleaning. Working. Driving and I don’t stop laughing!! Only issue I’ve subscribed to patron or whatever it’s called for as free etc, doesn’t work. Can’t find anything to do with the show on there.

I normally don’t listen to podcasts but after clicking on to this I really love it! I listen to it whilst I’m cooking, whilst I’m drawing and multiple other things.

I am very much a TV series binger, I pretty much have something on in the background to watch 24/7 and I’m also notorious for doom scrolling…

Since starting this Podcast on Monday, I’ve probably watched about 3hrs worth of TV, my screen time has even gone down by 30% so far, all because, I literally CANNOT stop listening to this Podcast! I listen to the podcast, I potter about being productive and it is a fab combination😂.

Everything about it is great! I actually love it. As a big Sherlock Holmes fan, everyone involved in this podcast does Arthur Conan Doyle justice. The whole podcast is a work of art.

I hope this Podcast continues for a very long time. So many things have been going on in my life recently, and this podcast has honestly been the thing to help get me through it all, this podcast takes you away from the 24/7 hectic, fast paced and busy modern day lifestyle and remedies racing thoughts.

This is just simply brilliant, the voice acting is incredible and the story telling is equally superb. Binged this from episode 1 to latest in about a month if that!!

I enjoy this fresh approach to Good Old SH and DW and find this very entertaining which really is what matters. Purists will find flaws but just roll with it and enjoy the ride.

I love this podcast, as soon as I found it I was hooked! Please can I have a shout out🙏

I started out enjoying this show and thinking that it was a new angle. After a few good stories they seem to be trying to spin out the tales into as many short bites as possible to plug their patreon site and bombard us with advertising. I did stop listening and regret giving them another chance.

I listen to many podcasts, covering many subjects and interests. I came across Sherlock & Co just after it launched and decided to give it a go. Good job I did. This is the only podcast I have ever stuck with. It has everything you would expect and much more. A modernisation of the two intrepid detectives brought to life brilliantly by the players. Humour in spades, plot twists, sorrow and heartbreak and perhaps most importantly murder is threaded through each episodic story. I look forward to each new story and try to save them so I can do episode after episode. I feel the cast are friends weirdly so that’s a great achievement by itself. I urge you to give it a go! You won’t regret!

Sign of Four was way too long. What was originally laugh out loud funny has become a bit tedious. The podcast device is great but often seems overplayed. All told the stories seem to be improving so you still have a fan. Ps. An angle grinder is not a saw. Not even close. 😉

I absolutely loved this podcast but it’s become SO woke it makes me nauseous. Stop trying to offend nobody because you’re actually offending regular every-day people like me. No Black Peter isn’t racist, cut down on the stupid pointless “trigger” warnings. I’m triggered by the amount of stuff that people are upset by. Please please stop with the woke agenda. Please stop with the Trump insurrection ad, I find that triggering, and go back to the funny well written and entertaining Podcast you used to be. 🙏🏼

Great idea, well acted & produced, some nice updated stuff. Their “Sign of Four” is truly awful & bloated out of all recognition. So it’s getting preachy, pukingly Woke (women good, men bad, a Gaza reference, gender swapping, virtue signalling), Mrs Hudson takes part (& even works out clues) in every Adventure, & there’s too much ‘pretending a real podcast is a fictional podcast’ padding that’s getting tiresome. Watson even worried if ‘Black Peter’ was racist! Ugh.

Everything about this is superb. The writing, delivery, just the whole sha-bang.

The characters are believable and the empathy you share with them feels very real.

I’m a Sherlock Holmes fan but I’ve heard so many versions and thought there was nothing new left to experience with them - but this series is so original and so fresh it feels like something entirely different. They haven’t just tinkered with the original stories and changed the settings , they’ve completely reimagined them. The characters that present the podcast, particularly John Watson, and really engaging and the whole premise is so much more human. Really look forward to each new episode. Good work all. 👏

As a Conan-Doyle fan I wasn’t sure if I would like this pod- but I love it! Everything from the terrific music, self-deprecating Watson and unique Holmes is spot on. Just very clever and wonderful listening- well done!

I’m a big fan of all versions of Sherlock Holmes and this is one of the best - a contemporary take that really works, with a very likeable Watson and a very believable Sherlock and a great Mrs Hudson. Very funny and clever

If you enjoyed the first season of the BBC Sherlock, you will love this. Different, but contemporary and with the same ‘feel’. Very enjoyable.
