So glad I’ve come across this podcast, loving it so far!! One of my new favourites

Pure drivel.

I just started listening to this today and have binged the entire series so far. Lily has mentioned she is ADHD and there’s a suggestion that Miquita may be too. As a neurodivergent it’s really nice to hear people being honest about the chaos of what that means without making it all about a label. There’s lots of discussion about real things - some good, some not so good and I appreciate that. They’re not trying to be glamorous and it doesn’t feel like there’s an agenda of building followers and a fan base in the same way as some ‘celebrity’ podcasts.

Whilst I can in absolutely no way relate to the world they grew up in I can relate to the feelings they talk about and having huge transformations in your life through therapy and it shows that just because they had privilege it doesn’t mean they had it easy. Particularly related to the discussion about school, financial inexperience and exams (although not so much dropping out to go and present Popworld 😂).

To all of you moaning about them being two privileged women having a podcast, could you please go and google “two unprivileged women having a podcast” and then switch the channel. Ladies your chemistry is everything. LOVE Well done! Much needed in these times of gray and fog. 😘

Real, raw and honest. No hiding and allowing a perfect picture of what being a human is all about, you should both be really proud of this podcast because it is literally everything we all need. Well done lads x

I thought they would come across as super preachy or super privileged; they don’t. There’s something very refreshing about this podcast. I recommend listening with an open mind.

As a woman in her 30s my teenage years was jam packed with these lovely ladies! I’ve loved their friendship and this podcast is so honest and raw. Miquita and Lilys friendship shines through so much and it feels like I’m listening in to a private conversation, which makes me smile! Here’s to many more episodes! Well done ladies!

I only just came across this podcast and listened to the episode talking about social media. Hilariously both mentioned being “bored” as the reasons their careers took off. Not the nepotistic connections to famous people and MySpace that gave them the opportunities to capitalise on. Bit out of touch eh?!

100% entitled bores

I’m invested in the showbiz stories and their friendship. They are clearly intelligent and the podcast has potential. However, they need to think more strategically about how they come across in a public sphere. Some of their conversations are ‘reductive’ to them as modern women: being clueless about pensions and tax, how to help with children’s homework, best lies you’ve ever told.

I love the chemistry and long time friendship level of Lily and Miquita!

They are real and very funny together. Even if I wasn’t such a big fan of Lily Allen’s music, novel and other work, I would love this podcast just the same.

I have listened to every episode and I’m totally invested but it makes me feel slightly icky too. They are so privileged but completely unaware of it, or at least appear to be. Which at 39, feels a bit weird. But they are compelling to listen to as two proper old pals.

They are the James Deans of podcasts.

Fun to be let in on the banter of a clearly genuine and long-standing female friendship. Also nostalgic to hear people of a similar age reflect on what’s changed as we’ve grown.

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled to by the silly one stars. Not sure why you would listen to this, let alone bother to leave a review, if you already know you don’t like the hosts. Clearly some people don’t value their own time 😂

There’s some okay bits but on the whole they are rambling on about a load of nonsense. The whole Princess of wales thing I thought was really odd coming from Lily as she was hounded by the press and should of known better than to make that a thing to laugh about. On the whole their conversations are very exhausting to listen too. Needs more structure.

Miquita on T4 and pop world and Lily being sassy in interviews was part of my 20s.

Good friendship vibes and giggles on this podcast.

I love this podcast so much. The life these two had growing up is so intriguing, so many casual name drops this week being Chris Akabussi 😂

You can tell when two women grew up together based on their jokes and how comfortable they are with each other, the laughing is infectious, the stories nostalgic. Anyone who is in their late 30’s early 40’s can relate to their discussions.

Not really sure on the split concept of two episodes. Maybe just record two a week of the same stuff!

Nice to hear how happy Lily is and lovely to have Miquita back broadcasting regularly too, we all grew up with her on pop world and T4 so this is amazing!

This show reminds me of the fantastic Strippers in the Attic podcast, but like a posh West London celebrity women version rather than strippers. I appreciate Lily and Miquita’s honesty, knowing there’s probably a whole lot more to the stories that they can’t share. They have great podcasting chemistry. The only criticism is that Lily and Miquita sound exactly the same (to me). Not their fault obviously, but I can’t tell them apart which I find irksome and slightly spoils the listen.
