It's chronic what people think is true, without any other evidence apart from a book, full of stories which are good fun and great adventures but like lord of the rings it's male believe . For goodness sake they say dinosaurs our not real lol

This man preaches the bible and points me to Jesus. He is not another boring middle class preacher. He picks out key biblical stuff and grounds it with every day life. You would be a fool to miss out on this teaching! It helps me love Jesus and live for him better

From a 16 year old guy, this is the perfect thing to (literally) put the fear of God into you! You'll either finally see whats wrong in your life or you'll know how not to go wrong, even for the hard of hearing, you'll struggle to miss his point! The world needs more MEN like Mark Driscoll. I highly recommend - best of; marriage and men. I haven't found anyone in the same league!

I highly recommend this guy, his teaching is firmly rooted in scripture with lots of references to back up what he says.

Brilliant wisdom, challenging application & satisfying soul-fodder from this apostolic evangelist. A modern day Wesley with the theology of Whitefield. If you're seeking crowd pleasing platitudes to tickle the ears of the masses you'll be disappointed; or again if you crave for the regurgitations of yesteryear. Instead we're served here with a meat feast of the full gamut of the Gospel to chew upon, but presented on designer dishes, in an inviting, tasty manner. You will be changed, edified & moved on in maturity.

I find much to praise about driscoll. Its always an enjoyable listen. If you're a fan of repitition then he is your man. However his theology is a little shaky, (a kind of inherited patriarchal uber morality), as often as it's firm and rooted biblically. Many times when he's said stuff that doesn't seem right in my mind it's lead to some intense study in order to check whether it his is mine or his view that is closer to the truth. Very useful if you're confident in independent study. to be avoided if not.

I've been listening to these for around a year or so now, and they're absolutely brilliant. I have learnt and been challenged in so many different ways. Driscoll's talent as far as I am concerned is twofold - he keeps Jesus and the importance of Biblical teaching central throughout, and he is excellent at continually extrapolating practical applications from Scripture that are directly relevant to most of us living in the Western World today. Pray for this man and his church with their vision of extensive church planting. Their drive and vigour to see Jesus name spread and people saved to walk with Him is phenenomal and is worthy of prayer and support from all of us that call Jesus Lord.

Not only is the teaching from Mars Hill funny and relevant, but stands firm on excellent theology and doctrine. From these sermons you will not only find practical advice, great testimonies, but very deep, strong and biblical arguments rooted and grounded through a well read and frankly brilliant Pastor. Driscoll's teaching is like eating a fat juicy steak. He expounds on the most trickiest passages on the bible, and does not sell out on the truth of the bible. Moreover, he really will convict you and cut you up with the truth, so much so that you will find yourself growing a lot spiritually from the Word that he teaches. Praise God for Mars Hill. Excellent resource.

Hated by the Fundamentalists, hated by the liberals.... loved by people who want to discover and grow in thier relationship with the real Jesus and the real church. Sometimes uncomfortable to listen to because what this guys hits home with what he says. This guy talks some sense, he will tell it as it is, not alot of these people about in todays culture.

Listen to the Vintage Jesus series for sure, it gave me a totally fresh perspective on Jesus.

These sermons are so helpful - funny, insightful, biblical and yet serious too. Mark Driscoll is a seriously good communicator of Bible truths. It is refreshing to hear a young Pastor unapologetically contend for truth, but with humility and humour. God Bless Ya Mark!

I love these podcasts! Bible preaching with passion and relavance. Mark doesn't shy away from difficult topics but seeks to explain everything in a way that connects everything back to Jesus. It is so refreshing to hear preaching from a regular guy who loves Jesus and his church but who will not be moved from the word of God for anything. The sermons are long (perfect for the daily commute to work) but not longwinded, Mark keeps your attention with his comedy and sometimes controversial (but always biblical) topics. If you want to know more about the Jesus of the bible and what he's got to do with you, or if you are a Christian who wants to go deeper then these podcasts are for you!
