I have downloaded many podcats from around the world but when it comes to good music this is the best.

Tim Sweeney is a legend. These shows are fantastic and I always feel up to date with the latest sounds for having them. I tend to skip some of the more disco influenced ones, but I've made some permanent features on my iPhone as they are true classics. I love Tim's deference to all major cities as capitals of good music (London in particular of course) and although you know they come from NYC, the podcasts are truly global. Keep it up! Would love more Kim Ann ;)

Well yeah, there's not much more to add that the other reviewers haven't, absolute essential listening, tim is a great presenter, it's Victor that makes me chuckle, more victor please ;-)

I stumbled across this whilst looking for some electro music.........what can I say I am blown away by the quality of this podcast and the Beats in Space show......its a must.....get it now you will not be disappointed

Like a good Radio show with the most laid back of hosts in all of new york? Hosted by a DJ in the classic sense of the term. The show genrally comprises of one half with a guest mix from one of the coolest clubs/labels around the world notable examples from the last couple of years have been (for myself anyway) Twitch, Erol, Laurent Garnier, Nicky Siano, Morgan Giest and Most of the DFA crew. The Second Half of the show is taken by The Sweeney.

Music tends towards disco and house and music that goes well with disco and house, more often than not lesser known remixes and re-edits that can easily drive yourself mad finding.

... this is musical education and entertainment at it's absolute best... from classics to cutting-edge... never predictable, always essential. Thank you, Tim Sweeney, your shows are fantastic...
