A podcast it’s surprising that no one has made before, but worth the wait.

We stand on the shoulders of people who laid everything on the line and often suffered significant discrimination, we benefited and we should all listen and learn.

Wonderful interviews with activists that helped pave the way for LGBTQ+ rights today. Illuminating stories that inform and inspire us to carry the torch forward.

Absolutely brilliant first episode. Loved it. Can’t wait for the rest.

This is a really intriguing political project - capturing a history in the UK that too many take for granted. But it’s also incredibly emotional, really drilling down into the personal stories behind the activism, reminding/educating listeners of the incredible courage that regular, relatable people showed in challenging a world that wouldn’t allow LGTBQ+ people to exist fully. Inspiring for confronting the (sadly) same challenges we see today!

So pleased this podcast exists with informative, nuanced and humorous discussions of LGBTQ+ history and its contemporary relevances.

Loved the first podcast. The conversation was thoughtful provoking, made me teary eyed in parts (when he mentioned his dad, and friends), and informative (I knew nothing about Stonewall and little about section 28)

Really well-done, and I eagerly await next week’s episode.
