It's a good podcast, although not as interesting perhaps as the Guardian Science Weekly. It's 80% science news and 20% John Stewart saying "I'm John Stewart".

In science. I love this podcast it helps me to understand what is going on around me!

I'm currently an A level student studying biology, chemistry and maths, this is a great podcast for keeping up to date what is happening in the scientific world but in language that I can easily understand.

It looks at all the current scientific advances, but makes it interesting and fun to listen to. Well done!

Dumbed down drivel; anybody with as much as a GCSE sholud give this a wide berth.

In Our Time (a "history" podcast) is much wittier & more erudite. ....I hate to think what SIA wouldd have made of String theory or Newtoinian mechanics. Do yourself a favour & see what Melvyn & co have to say

As ignorant parent and grandparent of scientists I can't do without SiA to keep up with the rest of the family. Wonderful to have the podcast and know I need never miss out.

A new show for me to keep up with, I love the subject being a gasman and i am glad I can now listen when I want. Long may it continue, well done the BBC.
