Always a fantastic show
Diverse, interesting, supporting musicians from all walks and genres, Tom always does his research and seems to never play anything he isn’t personally exited about discovering himself!
I’ve yet to come away from listening to a show without a new favourite discovery.

New Music Source
I’ve found some great new music by listening to Tom’s podcast- from New prog-rock for my vinyl collection to Hip-Hop my son has played on his university radio show!

No better way to expand your musical horizons
Tom Robinson and the BBC Introducing crew from around the UK have a fine collective ear for all that’s good in contemporary music, and this podcast delivers easily digestible hour-long sets showcasing the best of the best from unsigned bands of all genres - and none.
Will you like everything that you hear? No. But you will never be bored listening to this podcast, and occasionally you’ll hear something so outrageously great that you have to hit pause and head to iTunes where, before you know it, you’ve downloaded a whole album of crunchy-guitared electro-bluesy goodness that sounds like the product of an illicit liaison between Bloc Party and late-era Depeche Mode.

Top stuff UK.
Feel very proud to have been featured on this show and can't get over just how much good talent we have in the UK. If only every band could tour and get day time airplay. One thing : would be good if band names could be embedded into podcast to its easier to look them up. Top stuff Tom and co.

Mmmmmm, Fresh.
I download this Podcast every week and I'm never disappointed, there's always something on it I like. Not since the days of the great John Peel have I found a resource that is so diverse and continuously interesting; championing the little fish in the over-saturated musical sea. Great stuff, keep it up & LONG LIVE 6 Music.

Liv & Toya
I especially LOVED the second song by Liv and Toya, the 2 eighteen year olds from Rutlands. I think they were the star of 1st May 2011 release. Really fresh and mellow. Beautful. Want to hear more of them!

Best Podcast around, Federals are a great choice!
Love the fact that Tom R is pushing great new music. Federals are easily the best band in Britain right now.

A Gem following in the spirit of John Peel
This podcast is not only a wonderfully eclectic and joyful collection of music, it also serves an incredibly important service showcasing the weird, wonderful and creatively daring lesser-known artists out there. Let's fight to keep it alive, people!

Love this.
If my ipod was doing what it's supposed to, this would make my Monday morning bus journey a million times better. It's like pick and mix for your ears. More 8-bit tracks and songs about meat, Johnny Depp under a bed, bicycles and deadly scorpions please!

love this
i've only been listening to this for about 4 weeks and i've already discovered about half a dozen new bands that i love. nice one tom robinson!

The best podcast on the net!!
This is a superb show. Full length tracks by brilliant bands that you won't have otherwise heard of but are well worth a listen. I have discovered some real gems from this show...

A brilliant slice of fresh and varied music
Easily one of my favourite podcasts. Full length songs of all descriptions are collected each week. Robinson makes heavy use of Myspace to find new acts, so these really are songs that are quite obscure and normally always fantastic. Robinson creates an amazing mix of songs and, both of his own choice and listeners' suggestions, and rather importantly he's genuinely excited by the music rather than pushing his own ego (like most BBC Radio presenters). Do not miss this podcast!

A proper music podcast
Some real gems have been unearthed - full tracks too, no twenty second teases here - this podcast is ideal for those of you who haven't time or patience to spend all day searching through myspace etc. preferring someone else to quietly go away and do it for you and present back to you with a friendly nudge and a warm cup of cocoa.
I was a big fan of Tom Ravenscroft's podcasts, and since they have gone away for who knows how long, this has more than adequately filled the void. Peel jr even popped up on here with some selections around xmastime which was a lovely surprise.
