Fantastic Fantasy
A great selection of stories that fill out and broaden the fantasy storyscape. Read by excellent narrators who bring warmth and character to the words they voice.

Excellent Fantasy Fiction
I have been listening to Podcastle for nearly a year now (along with Escape Pod and Pseudopod) and figured it was time to write a review. This is a fantastic source of free fiction. Even though I’m generally more of a sci-fi fan than a fantasy one some of my favourite stories from the three pods have appeared here (the Tim Pratt ones are particularly brilliant.)
There are a great variety of stories on offer, short and long, humorous and philosophical, and the sound quality is consistently high. I am amazed that the podcastle team can continue to make weekly episodes (and mini bonus episodes from time to time), available for free.
I cannot recommend this podcast enough if you have even a passing interest audio-fiction give this a listen.

A great collection of short stories.
A sister Podcast to Pseudopod (short horror) and Escape Pod (short sci fi), it's a collection of well written and narrated, short, fantasy stories with the idea of being about the length of a morning commute. You get a taste of all kinds of fantasy and wide range of authors, a giving you a well put together exploration of the fantasy genre. Most importantly it's fun to listen to.
