A great podcast which blends retro and modern gaming topics. The hosts really make it special with their passion and knowledge of gaming coupled with personalities which suit the topics. I’m late 30’s and this show really connects with me. Hope it continues for many years!

Don’t think it’s as good as it used to be, but it’s still a good weekly gaming podcast. I don’t think 20 questions is as good to listen to as it may be playing it. I think they need to break it away the way they did with Knockin Boots and put that time back into weekly news and talk a bit more in depth about games they’re playing.

One of my favourite podcasts ever. I love the Games Scoop crew and the general chat but the underrated star of the show for me is the end music. It perfectly caps off the already 5* podcast sending me off happy for another week. Thanks Daemon!! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been listening for years from the UK and never miss an episode. I’ve also gotten heavily into Daemon’s music as a result (how’s the vinyl?).

Would be awesome if you guys were to do some episodes whenever you go overseas with an audience. Would have loved to have been at the 500th episode special but grabbed a T-shirt as a consolation prize! If you come to the UK for a convention or event and do a special id love to attend.

Anyway it’s such a great show even though I do find myself screaming a little when some stuff isn’t fact checked and immediately dismissed (e.g. the Wondermega was a real console) you all have phones!!

But I’m nit-picking, quality content, great hosts and good comedy which transcends continents really well.

Hopefully the show goes on for a lot longer and if for some reason IGN drops it then it definitely needs to go independent.

Been listening to this podcast for the best part of the last 7 odd years. Get my weekly video gaming fix. One of the best, consistently great podcasts! I need to start submitting some 20 questions suggestions. I remember when you first introduced that. Who knew it would become a Gamescoop staple!!

Been listening for years; but hear days it feels like a Nintendo podcast, which I personally have zero interest in... that said I still listen every week.

Genuinely my favourite podcast, and actually the one that got me listening to podcasts in general. Always funny and irreverent, but a genuine love for videogames too

Been listening to game scoop for a few years now and love it, well worth a listen.

This has become a big issue the video has sometimes appeared 3 days later than the audio and it’s not good enough. If Beyond and Unlocked are up within 24 hours why does it take longer for Game Scoop?

Daemon and friends are all great and their knowledge of games is deep.

Very light on content, a casual conversation show, & boring time-filling quiz show.

This is the number 1 podcast for multi console owners. The highlight of my entertainment week. Worth listening to for 20 questions alone.

At times I would have been subscribed to 4 or 5 gaming podcasts. I cut back and this is the only one I listen to every week. An ideal length usually being between 45 - 60 mins it is my main source of any news coming out of the gaming world. Daemon is a superb host capable of getting everyone talking while keeping them on a relevant track. Not a podcast for fan boys the podcast gives whatever is relevant its time to be discussed whether it be sony, microsoft or nintendo.

I used to really enjoy gamescoop, up until they decided to do videos instead. Now the podcast is just audio ripped from segments of the videos.

So instead of having a flowing conversation full of video game news and quite a nice bit humour on the side, we now have dull news segments smashed together, meaning cast changes ever 10mins and a decided lack of the humour or personality, that made gamescoop charming and entertaining before.

They aren't even regular either!

If u want an entertaining video game podcast then I would recommend: Podcast Beyond, Married to the games, Mature Gamer Podcast or podcast unlocked.

Your spoken audio and your stings between segments have levels that are a country mile apart, meaning one part, spoken, is either to quiet, or if I turn it up the music is way to loud, I listen to podcasts on the go so can't pull my ipod out multiple times to adjust volume. Also since the format change the podcast has absolutely no character it seems like a patchwork job and the podcast lacks flow and often humour, so I am no longer going to listen as it no longer appeals to me.

I love scoop its one of my favourite podcasts but you have changed for the worst, the shows are shorter, less informative and you bring out a new one less often, please bring back the weekly scoop

This was once a witty and informative podcast probably one of the best, so it is puzzling why ign would change the format and make it into a middle of the road chat show, we haven't even had a game scoop on the week where we had a playstation announcement! :-(

Now the show is a disjoint mish mash of opinions, topics and characters. Very sad as it used to be one of the most entertaining podcasts.

Why change what worked so well? I really couldn't give a crap about the video show and shoehorning 5 of them in to an audio podcast is just doesn't work.

Their levels need to be fixed or something. They suddenly start laughing and it comes through my earphones so loud that it's actually hurt my ears. They're still ringing as I'm typing this.

Since IGN changed Gamescoop to a video show they have still been releasing the episodes as a podcast every week.

I have to say I'm very disappointed, what was once one of my favourite gaming podcasts is now ruined. Now that Gamescoop is primarily a visual medium a lot of what makes it good is lost when listening to solely the audio track; they often play videos of games and trailers which just sound weird when listening.

Also, because episodes are filmed in sections every day the guests change every so often and this really annoys me...

I know probably nothing will be done about this and my complaints will most likely fall on deaf ears, but Gamescoop is a bad podcast now. It's a pretty good video show, but it fails as a podcast.

The only thing I can think of is record a separate audio podcast every week just like old times. That way, if people want to watch the video then they can and if people want a to listen to a good audio podcast (like me) then they can. This is probably too much work and too time consuming but I just miss the old Gamescoop...

Game Scoop podcast is great, keeps me entertained on those long drives every day. Deserves the top score as I probably listen to this more than playing actual games these days. Enjoy games by proxy with these loveable douche bags! Keep up the strong word jams guys.
