I understand you need adverts to pay for the podcast, but having the same repetitive advert 2-3 times consecutively is a piss take.

British bias is real. ‘Journalism’ like this is why the sport is so toxic.

I always enjoy your podcast. But around minute 41 of your Japanese review you completely lose it. You even admit that the FIA got it bang on the money in showing me correct points in the race. All the journalists called it wrong to the fans and should be embarrassed!

I subscribed for in-depth analysis of races and F1 news and developments - just like the magazine/website. Instead there’s unnecessarily long questions and links from one presenter and a presentation style reminiscent of Harry Enfield’s “Smashie and Nicey”. The latest episode reviewed the new on-screen graphics from F1 TV! Seriously? Where’s the insight from the pitlane or analysis of the newest technological innovation? At least Luke and Alex stick to the subject at hand and sound far more natural and knowledgeable when they speak. Thankfully there’s better F1 podcasts out there.

What’s happened Autosport? This is quickly becoming the worst motorsport podcast. It’s not been the same since all the top journalists left and started The Race. It’s scripted to the point listeners can tell it’s literally being read out from a script. It’s lost it’s professionalism and quality of content. The latest podcast on ‘Rating the best drivers of the century so far’ is an absolute joke, you can’t just have one guy reading out a load of stuff for 24 minutes!

The podcasters discussed how it would good if Mercedes dropped their appeal against the arbitrary decision of the Race Director. I am relatively new to F1 but if these views are common place then I think the ‘sport’ has a real problem. In effect they are espousing the view that the integrity of the sport is dependent on not challenging a transparently unfair and capricious decision then I suspect the sport will fail to attract new fans and lose current fans. You probably could get away with such limited views with a limited audience but the more diverse and global your audience I think you will struggle to sell F1 as a sport and not made for tv entertainment. I am thankful Lewis seems to transcend F1. This will not be a stain on his reputation but a stain on F1.

One guy knows his stuff, other two are pretty useless with poor knowledge of the sport. They don’t add any value whatsoever.

I’m sorry, but I find it very “uneasy on the ear” listening to Ariana’s staccato style of presentation. Compare that to the natural free flowing style of Jenny Gow on another F1 podcast.

Interesting podcast with some good topics and discussions. However, whilst the enthusiasm of Alex is great, nearly every question asked features a unrelated and lengthy tangent or digression in the middle, which disrupts the flow of the discussion. Once you notice it, it makes it quite painful to listen to. Great example is 25min 21 seconds in the 09/03/21 Ferrari episode.

Ariana is a breath of fresh air, great to hear some different voices and much preferred to Alex’s mumbling (I can barely tell what he is saying)... keep up the good work and ignore the miserable old gits complaining :)

Codders rants reaching new heights re Spain, has tumbled into a light hearted chin wag rather than in depth techie geeky stuff but then there are other podcasts for that, it’s a refreshing different style of race review, more like listening to a conversation in the pub than a series of statistic heavy statements, that said, the gravitas that Alex brought is a little missed

Used to really enjoy listening but it’s just rambling now- very limited analysis and insight, just repeating what they read online and in the press, often inaccurately

Also please get Codders off- no one cares about your anecdotes and silly metaphors

Oh dear like listening to a bunch of school girls yacking in the school yard and I include Codders as one! Please bring back Ed Straw and some gravitas to the podcast, this is just terrible, I can’t describe how pathetic this review was.

Shame. Refreshed show is now poor. Just seems to be a re-hash of the race - with no analysis or insight. As one of the other reviews says it now seems like a kids show.

there are some excellent knowledgeable female anchors out there but this show doesn’t have one of those, Sounds like listening to a kids show.

Autosport has made a great change: finally one of the F1 channels has found it possible to give us more than a group of white men calling in to agree with each other. Ariana Bravo is a breath of fresh air as a presenter and the contributors seem to have found a new lease of life.

Someone give that James Newbold an inhaler! Very annoying breathing in very loudly after every sentence.

A must listen during the F1 season - a smart, analytical motorsport podcast that trusts the audience to be smart and knowledgeable about F1. Also some great warmth between the hosts!

Recent refresh sounds really good, new theme and presenters have given this show a breath of air. But it hasn't lost the essence of being Autosport and taking time to explain things. Looking forward to the new season.

Especially like the bite sized podcasts over race weekends. Enough information without getting in to deep and sending us to sleep. Keep up the good work

Great f1 content. But please, no one cares about whether your dinner has arrived yet, where you went for dinner. Why is this relevant?

Sort your audio out Alex you’re always so quiet!

Not a rating on the content. The output has widely different volumes depending on who is speaking. It makes it almost impossible to listen to. Please sort this out.

Volume varies hugely between different presenters leaving you either not hearing certain people or deafened by others. Can’t be that difficult to sort this out and surely should be picked up by the editor?

Get rid of intro music as well.

Alex's tangents are awful. Who cares where you are staying or what you're eating? At least the guests are mostly well informed.

Good quality podcast and pretty insightful. Not as good as The Race Podcast, but still good ,however I cannot stand the song which they insist on using for every episode. Wouldn’t mind if it was 5 seconds, but jeez it seems to go on forever... the quality of the podcast would definitely increase with a better, more simple intro/close.

This show is brilliant! It gives you a wonderful insight into the f1 competition. On the driver ratings, they should do it more on how interesting the driver is. For example, the rating for Hamilton was 10/10. However, Hamilton does not make the race interesting, even though he is a good driver. Other than that, the podcast is really good.

During the Styrian GP Review one of the contributors brags about making Allo Allo jokes at a Renault presentation. I kid you not.

I don’t think I’ve ever cringed so much in 15 years listening to podcasts.

Some of the content in this is good, as is the presentation, but the banter is witless embarrassing garbage.

I used to read my Dads Autosport magazine in the 80s and its still the best source of unbiased news, not just F1 either. Love the podcast guys! More interviews as well please.

Found this podcast duing lockdown when Damon Hill tweeted his praise for it. I have enjoyed listening to the backlog of Formula 1 interviews.

Their qualifying analysis literally arrived just after Bottas got pole. That deserves a 5 star review! I must admit Autosport has really improved lately.

I dont always get time to watch F1 on TV so I listen to Autosport and they tell me everything I need to know. Loving the extra shows they are doing at the moment.

Ive been listening to this show for years for race reviews, but they never did much else. However lately Autosport has upped their game with more regular pod casts and features. Including many interviews with famous faces past and present. I have just subscribed to their website for the extra articles too.

Went a bit quiet last year and was worried my trusty Autosport podcast might not survive without Edd. But really enjoying the new format. Lots of interviews and features recently makes a change from the other F1 podcasts. Once again its the best F1 channel.

Loved the alesi interview. Was lucky enough to win a competition 10 years ago to meet him at Yas Marina and have a go in a 2 seater F1 car. Best 10 minutes of my life. Including going sideways and off the track as he tried to take a corner flat out (a bet with Johnny Herbert that he couldn’t do it).

Never mind we’re missing live motorsport, the Autosport pod is missing Ed Straw. Now rather lightweight, there’s better to be had in places like Race.com

Good effort by the new team, but I don’t think you can beat Ed Straw, Maurice Hamilton and Mark Hughes.

Times Change

When Ed and the team were around at Autosport towers I never missed a podcast, but the new crew have a lot to live upto. Listened to a couple but until they sort the sound quality (ask Ed for the microphones back) I will just dip in and out of the of pod that takes my fancy.

Edd is gone, this podcast has lost all its charm and charisma. Go and subscribe to ‘The Race F1 Podcast’ for Edd and all your familiar favourites!

Extremely informative podcast from genuinely enthusiastic journalists who love motorsport. Relaxed off the cuff style works mostly although sometimes it feels like they pressed record a bit early and captured in-jokes and put downs from discussions around the water cooler. Love ed with his use of “very much so”.

They’ve got rid of one of the best voices in the business Ed Straw. Bring him back!

This podcast addresses many of my questions and is very good if you can’t watch F1 on Sunday and want to find out about the race. Also definitely better than the other formal F1 podcasts!!😎 definitely 5stars

No new podcasts have been published since Edd Straw left several weeks ago.

It has been a definitive source of post-race analysis and review, but who knows what will happen in 2020.

In the meantime, the silence is deafening despite plenty of F1 news stories...

Tuned in for the Formula E but it was rather dire. Probably does the job for those already in the know, but for a casual fan it stripped all the joy out of the subject matter.

Usually very good. Prefer to the mag these days!

This has the potential to be one of the best podcasts for F1 content. The only problem is the bias and the sheer quantity of pro-Ferrari propaganda! Edd Straw is a super knowledgable guy and a great host but his opinions regarding anything Ferrari are incredibly frustrating. If you’re going to make something designed to be enjoying by all F1 fans then can’t be trashing everyone else except your favourite team.
