Have loved listening to these recently, the guys are great presenters with a fabulous sense of humour. Laugh out loud stuff, highly recommended.

Lockdown relief. This is just such a great show.

Started listening to this to reminisce and have not stopped smiling since. What makes it better is how much they are clearly loving it and enjoying themselves. There is clearly so much fun going on it like listening to friends chatting over a drink and inviting you to join them.

Came across this podcast when searching for stuff on Quadrophenia. Loved that chat so I downloaded a whole load more. The lads have a great casual discussion on classic films and TV, and also provide loads of unknown facts and trivia. Also, I think they are a similar age to me, and so you get a real feel and great memories of growing up in the 70s and 80s. Would love them to do The Dirty Dozen, Kelly’s Heroes, Where Eagles Dare, McVicar, Once Upon a Time in America, The Godfather and for TV - The Sweeney, Grange Hill, Mission Impossible. Keep up the good work fellas!

I absolutely love Waffle On! It's just the tonic. Meds and Kells are such terrific hosts. I came across Waffle On by accident and have been hooked for the past 2 years. The guys have such a great chemistery and their passion for their subjects is why their podcast works so brilliantly. Please Waffle on and on and On!!!

I love the concept of this podcast and the topics. But PLEASE use a decent directional microphone for each person. It sounds like the latest episode was recorded in a bathroom. And please calm down the brummy and ask him to stop randomly shouting for no reason.

During long days working alone this podcast is a lovely easy listen. I must say that I hated the brummie accent but this is no longer the case, in particular Mark Kelly's infectious Midlands dialect is pure gold. Simon does a brilliant job as host and mediator and together they give an insightful, funny and down to earth view on a wide range of TV and film. Keep going lads. Matthew

Hi meds and kell, it has taken me this long to be able to send this review after finally falling into the 21st century with an iPhone. I have listened to the show since the beginning on the tinternet and welcome the monthly podcasts. I have honestly laughed out loud listening to the shows and loved the children's TV and 4year show that brought back floods of childhood memories. Honestly lads you are doing an amazing job. Keep it up it helps this listener get through the grey Manchester mornings now I have managed to download and re~listen. Anyway in the words of you both I'll not waffle on. All the best

At some point in the future, podcasts will be a thing of the past, and whatever replaces the void, will no doubt tackle the nostalgic for them. Tributes to podcasts will be the new podcasts and waffle on the next generation is bound to be among them. Simon Meddings will be replaced by a shakespearean actor, and Mark C Kelly, will evolve into a wisecracking robot.

but until then, now enjoy the original waffle on, with its dated haircuts *, and simple but effective special effects as 2 mates talk on and on about the good old days of TV and film. informative, nostaglic, and down right lengthy, whats not to like?

Hey guys if you're in your 30s/40s from the uk and love tv/film then this is the podcast for you!! the stars of the show are Simon (meds)meddings & mark c (kel) kelly are very passionate about broadcasting and you can hear they are two best mates and sometimes you forget your listening to a podcast and it's like ur down your local talking films and tv shows from the 70s-90s you come away with great facts about ur favourite films and its stars I cannot recommend this podcast enough to my friends 😃👍😃👍😃👍😃👍

Been listening to waffle on for about 3-4 years and have enjoyed most some are are about films/tv not watched but have gave them ago Porridge & Dads Army are favourites

Most of the time listening to them it's like listening to mates and I am sure they forget they are making a podcast as sometimes they go off on one,hope many more are to come thanks lads

There is so much to commend this Podcast. The opportunity to have your Nostalgia muscles worked out is always fun. The banter between Meds and Kel makes you feel as if you are part of their gang. Kel little rants adage to be both thought provoking, funny and passionate all at the same time. They make you want to re-watch an old favourite or discover a new programme. Everything is delivered with a naturalism that is as refreshing as it is intoxicating.

at 45 just the right age to appreciate the content and sense of humour running through the series. actually had pangs of missing out with the ones I never saw at the time. an enjoyable way to pass an hour or two, particularly when on a long drive

Great podcast. It's ironic that it took two awesome ladies from south Texas (Anomaly) to introduce me to a podcast that is obviously recorded down the road from where I live. Just shows how the internet creates 'community' in strange, but wonderful ways. Keep up the good work & please don't forget a few words for Dennis Farina in your next pod who, for me, was far more significant than James Gandolfini.

I download loads of podcasts and this is one of the best. Funny, interesting, informatative and nostalgic if you're of a certain age. Every show is a must listen to. Great entertainment.

I'm a movie/TV fan, but only as much as the next person. More into my music really. What I'm trying to say is I find this podcast fasinating bearing that in mind. I have watched all The Sopranos, and loved that podcast on here. And also, the James Bond podacast on here was brilliant. I tend also to listen to podcsats on here, for example about Only Fools & Horses, which i've seen on TV on occation like anyone one else, but this really open my eyes to the show and it's a characters with some brilliant trivia and actor bio's. All I'm saying is even for a non film buff, this is essential listening. I highly recommend. Loved Spaced one also, will have to go re-wattch it all now. Rich

P.S. Please do a podcast on The Shield (my favourite TV Series, seen it all). I know one of you, Meds or Mark is a big fan, as It came up in conversation once. If one of you hasn't seen it, it's only 7 Seasons worth!

Found this podcast by accident and have now downloaded every single episode for my iPod and have enjoyed listening to them while i go for my daily 7 mile run. Great subjects and great presenters who never dwell too long but long enough to make it interesting. Cant wait for the new podcasts to come out. Loved the Only Fools and Horses, Auf Weidershen Pet and Steptoe and Son podcasts. Long may this continue .

I found this brilliant podcast completely by accident and having quickly listened to four selected shows, this is now one of my favourite podcasts. Check out the Rentaghost and Only Fools and Horses shows. Chosen shows are analysed fully with lots of humour and great facts too. The Brummie presenters are wonderful too. Fully deserving of 5 Stars. This podcast should win awards.

I've been listening to the podcast for the last few years and I always look forward to the next edition. The waffle on format covers a wide range of subjects, some that I have knowledge of, and others which are completely new to me. I don't always agree with their opinion, but it's always entertaining to listen to. Amusingly, today was the first time I've seen their pictures, Meds looks nothing like how he sounds, but Kel is exactly how he sounds :) If you have any interest in 'cult' British TV and films, then give them a listen, they must have waffled on about one of your favourite shows or films at some point!

I first found this podcast when i was looking for an Only Fools and Horses podcast..I then went on and listened to their archive.Great,fun and in depth chats about film and TV from passionate and interesting blokes.check it out.

Got reccomended this by a friend and have really enjoyed working my way through the back cataloge, some more enjoyable than others depending on your taste in programs but even if you havent seen the program or film they are talking about it still is a good listen.

Fantastic chemistry between the guys, and I really approve of the branching out they have done recently into TV and films from other countries. Keep it up guys, you are doing great work.

I've only discovered Waffle on Podcast a few weeks back but I totally adore it!

Both Kell and Meds are great host and it is always good when they have guests. Listening to them feels like meeting up with friends and chatting about the good old days of when we were young and what we use to watch on TV!

If you were a TV/film junkie, especially in the 70's and 80's, then download, kick off your platform shoes, and enjoy this.

Meds and Kell have a lovely chemistry and discuss, dissect and deliver a podcast that cover good (and not so good) programmes and personalities of that era.

If their previous podcasts are anything to go by then this is definitely a 'must have' for your iPod.

Only found this recently via the Dad's Army podcast which is equally as good. I'm a big fan of British comedy so good to listen to other people's thoughts and opinion.

One idea for a future podcast could be Carry On Films. I heard you mentioning them on the Steptoe and Son but would be interest to know your thoughts in more detail.

Waffle On is definitely my favourite TV-related podcast hosted by Brummies! Even if you're as young as I am, Waffle On provides a good insight into what was on British television in the latter half of the 20th century and how it was viewed by people growing up around that time. Meds and Kel have a good rapport and if you can get over the lie that Birmingham is in the centre of England (that would be my hometown of Leicester - Birmingham's a bit off to the left, uncomfortably near Wales) then you should enjoy this podcast a lot!

Imagine being down the pub and getting your best mate to chat about his passion.

Imagine hearing reminises about an era when there was something decent on the boob tube.

Imagine Educating Rita but about TV. And someone not called Rita. In fact with a bloke from Birmingham.

It isn't hard to do - when Meds and Mark "the sound of silence" Kelly fire up for another chat.
