Relaxed and easy going, Rebel FM is a great video games podcast. The hosts have a long history in video games criticism and development. I look forward to this every week.

I’ve listened to RebelFM since episode 140ish. Other podcasts have come and gone on my phone but RebelFM has remained a consistent weekly download for me.

The cast are all nice to listen to and well informed on all matters of the game industry from the inside, not just from a consumer level. Even when it’s games I don’t care for (DOTA2...) I still listen because they’re passionate about what they’re talking about.

It’s the only gaming based podcast that I still recommend. From big AAA to indie iOS games, RebelFM has informed me about many games I love and hate. Give this show a listen.

Love this podcast. Great to hear about games they have been playing but it is much more than that. You actually get to know them as individuals which is fantastic. Keep up the great work.

Vote or support trump, vote or support brexit then don't listen it's turned into cheap, childish, dismissive digs, especially Matt who obviously hasn't read how well Britains economy is doing, this was a great podcast

This podcast has 4 host with two main host. One is charming, witty tells a great story. Some one who you'd love to hang out with and listen to. The Other is at once compelling and totally insufferable. Some one who will bemoan the lack of ethnics in medieval depictions of Poland(?) and pontificate about minority representation whilst in the ext breath criticise seemingly all game related news that doesn’t originate from a small cadre of North American developers. It feels as though he would be better employed as PR for Microsoft rather than for an independent games journalist. If you want to listen to car crash type comments that are eloquent but totally absurd then this is for you.

But it spawned this great podcast. Consistently good and a cast that do not snark for snark sake. Genuinely refreshing hot and cold takes.

Whilst I enjoy their insights into gaming I often struggle with the use of the word "like". In any episode the word like will be used hundreds of times, sometimes four or five times per sentence, once I picked up on it I found it hard to ignore. Apart from that a good podcast.

Can be funnier than most comedy films or tv shows...unlike me. Enough said.

This is generally a good video game podcast and the hosts can be quite funny. However, it things like eating and yawning down the mic annoy you, you might want to avoid this one.

I love Rebel FM. Arthur, Mitch, Anthony and the others are a great mix of personalities and their opinions and discussions always make me laugh. Great music choices too! Ace.

Been listening to these guys from the first episode. These guys know what they're talking about and have a great sense of humour.

I think Rebel FM is amazing. But one thing has been missing of late - the great Tyler Barber.

Bring him back. And get Robert Ashley to come on sometimes too.

Enjoyed rebelFM since the demise of 1up. Miss game club, the bully series was fantastic. Some of the best podcasting content ever. One thing is annoying. Who is it that is always yawning? That's the only negative!

This podcast is for intelligent gamers' who have a sense of humor. Arthur Gies and Anthony Gallegos are two of the elite gaming journalists in the industry, it helps their also fracking hilarious!

Any news when it will return. It's been over two weeks since my last dose.

This is the best gaming podcast out there. It has everything, iOS, PC and console game discussions. The letters section is often hilarious an at times very somber as well. Cannot recommend this enough.

The guy sounds like he's just found his family dead. The guy is so miserable that just listening to him moan about everything in a monotone makes u wanna just make him vanish, an never ever laughs. He is dead inside. I listened to the show ages ago and had to stop because he made me feel depressed, thought I'd check back and hope he had left. But sadly no. So back to all the better happier gaming podcasts.

Good knowledge and talk about games, by funny individuals. Relationship advice can get a little bit tedious after listening to every podcast for 5 months but overall a great podcast that I would recommend to anyone interested in games.

i listen to a lot of gaming podcasts and this one is excellent, not only do they have an interesting opinion on all things game related. They have an infinite amount of wisdom when dealing with the car crashes that are the listeners love lives. well worth a listen

Love the podcast guys, I'm sorely missing 1upshow / co-op show - was the best bit of gaming tv since 'Games Master'. Keep up the good work!

I listened to this podcast for nearly nine months and used to love it. It seriously was my top gaming podcast, it made me read the three hosts articles/work in their day jobs.

But... And it's a big but... I stopped listening about two months back. It wasn't a full stop, I started loosing interest when the phrase, "I've been playing games I can't talk about". If you can't talk about them, don't rub our noses in it! Just stay silent. There was other things that started to grind me, but the final nail was when Anthony said that "All people from the UK could go @&#€ themselves". Bye you guys, you lost a fan.

Oh and the reason I'm writing this review now, I've just return from South East Asia and couldn't find the time.

These guys are really great, they are such characters with such a great dynamic between them that the show is really entertaining. They do a great job of discussing the latest games and industry news. There is a real mix of different game tastes between the guys, so you get a good debate and balanced view coming out of their show. The show would be a 5 out of 5 but they just love reading out relationship letters. These are totally repetitive and to be honest you really would not want to take their relationship advice, unless you wanted to be single and play games all day of course. The relationship letters are a 0 out of 5, and the overall score is 4 out of 5.

Great show. Learnt a lot about the toilet habits of America. Very educational.

Brilliant stuff...sometimes the best things in life ARE free....

The hosts nowadays seem to be so cynical and self involved after the fallout of 1UP, that I can't really deal with them. I love the show MUCH less becuase of the opinions, I like the discussion and essentially the analysis of the games that are being played.

As mentioned the show now seems indulgent, the constant of each show is some discussion about their jobs (specifically Anthony Gallegos') as writers in the game industry. How there is no pure impartiality or objectivity, and therefore it's fine to disregard it as a concept. Advice being given on 'how to get into the industry', is absolutely fine, and generally correct, but to bring it up frequently enough to imply to your audience that you are an authority on it, is yet another indulgence.

Especially when there is absolutely fantastic writing elsewhere, on games no less! Writing that actually analyses rather than numbers them, and then tries to justify those numbers.

I am purely reacting, but I feel at the moment, if you're a newcomer, try this podcast. If you don't mind being preached at occasionally. If you are like me, a veteran of the podcast, then perhaps you may be feeling the same as me. A little tired of the self absorbed conversation I often subject myself to.

Well informed group of friends. Great relaxed attitude without rambling off the point. Highly recommended.
